No care
I tried to schedule and appointment for my first visit as I’m high risk due pregnancy due to my twins sharing a placenta. They only had one appointment available for the whole month of January due to “being short staffed”. I was not able to get off of work to make this appointment so I had to cancel and have the ultrasound done at my regular OB office. I made another appointment at the same time for what is supposed to me my second visit. This visit an ultrasound was done and the tech tells me ok you can use the restroom and come back to this room and the doctor will be in to talk to you. Tech comes back and says everything is fine the doctor reviewed the images we will see you back in two weeks. I find it rude that the doctor couldn’t even introduce himself at my first visit. Where is the care? This doesn’t make me feel like they will do a good job of monitoring my babies. It’s in and out. Not how any practice should be ran. Unfortunately I might be stuck with using them due to ins.

Dr. Craparo was very informative, explained things in way we could understand and eased our concerns. We appreciated his straight-forward approach and he took his time with us. However, the ultrasounds techs could be more friendly. We're looking at ultrasounds of our baby! We hope the outcome is always positive but we're there because we are high risk. Why do I feel like we're a burden to them and they hate their job? It's hard enough to not have your spouse with you, so a little pleasantry could go a long way.

Horrible first pregnancy experience. The lack of communication between my OBs and Dr Craparo was astounding. I had been on bedrest for several weeks due to orders from my OB and when I went for my 20 week anatomy scan Dr Craparo wasn’t even aware of any complications I had been having or any bleeding that was occurring leading to bedrest. Fast forward 4 weeks later I went into preterm labor with my son and had him only 5 days later at 25 weeks weighing 1 lb 10 oz. Dr Craparo never once checked in or followed up with me. I love Abington but I have since switched OBs and will only be working with Dr Smith during my next pregnancy.
