Dr. Rodriguez-Porcel is an outstanding neurologist who goes above and beyond for his patients. He looks beyond the limited medical knowledge that offers Parkinson's patients some comfort and delves deeply into the individual's personal experience with the disease while he wraps his patients in a hopeful array of medications and therapies. Dr. Rodriguez-Porcel also helps foster a collaborative team among the patient, the caregiver, and the medical agencies that can improve the overall quality of life for his clients. In the past ten years, we have consulted with several movement disorder specialists at MUSC, and Dr. Rodriguez-Porcel stands head and shoulders above them all. He truly cares about his patients and their families, and it shows in his work.
