Amazing heart surgeon
My husband was told he needed heart bypass surgery. He was assigned to Dr. Gharai to perform his surgery. We met her the day before and she informed us in much detail what to expect and what she would be doing. The next day the surgery took 6.5 hours. She informed me of how in went and visited my husband 3 times a day while in recovery for 4 days. Post op appointment, she was again thorough and advised us on what we should do to maintain his recovery. Her mannerisms were respectful, stern, direct, but most of all, she was compassionate. Through out this whole ordeal of fear for him and my family, she was compassionate and understanding and I thank her for saving his life.

Dr Gharai was very sensitive to my anxiety in the healthcare setting. She took the time to review my imaging with a radiologist prior to my visit. She explained everything about my issue with me in a way that I could easily understand. She also looked for alternative options and consulted with other specialists regarding my care. I would recommend her to anyone, she was extremely kind and knowledgeable.
