Dr. Farbod Asgarzadie, MD

Told my mother if she wanted the surgery 4 other specialists have recommended he would only do it if she begged. Said if she got to the point of being suicidal then he would do it reluctantly. Recommended seeing a nerve specialist and when I asked for a recommendation for a nerve specialist he switched and said he wasn’t sure if it would really help. Denied further treatment based on a “gut feeling” but told us to “check in” with his office again in 3-6 months. Said he “didn’t agree” with the provided MRI results and that he knows better because “I’m a surgeon and I don’t think you would benefit.”

I was living in hell with the pain I had on my back and left foot, got a laminectomy discectomy procedure done by Dr. Asgarzadie back in December 2020, and boy what a relief! Right after the surgery I noticed the pain was gone on my left foot completely! Dr Asgarzadie is very polite and professional, answered all my questions. Am thankful that I came across him!

With apologies for the delay in putting this up, I've been meaning to write a positive review for Dr. A. since my surgery on 04/09/18. From the time I consulted with him regarding my condition, he took an interest, followed up with my pain mgmt dr, and answered questions in a humble and thoughtful manner. His follow up after surgery was also exemplary. BTW the surgery itself was a total success; the sciatic pain I had is gone. Thank you Dr. A.

My surgery was a success. He was open and honest and treated me with respect. The follow up was great too! Never thought I would end up having to have surgery but extremely grateful it was Dr. Asgarzadie. Thank you so much!!

Dr. Asgarzadie is the only reason I stayed with Kaiser for an additional year. He is the BEST surgeon. He is kind, humble, smart and has an AMAZING bedside manner. He put my family and I at ease when I was going into surgery and during my post surgery care he always had a smile and remembered me even though he's super busy.
