Dr. Ewa Mrozek, MD

She was great. I had a bad reaction to the chemo, and she came up with a way to keep getting the chemo without the reaction. Very encouraging all the time. We'd talk about our kids and daily stuff along with the cancer news. She is a bright star in my cancer story. She also knows what's she's doing. She knew the day my hair would start falling out, and she was right. She encouraged me to call whenever I had questions or concerns. She patiently explained the chemo, spelling all the names of the meds. I miss her.

Cancer and our medical complex are hard enough to navigate without the effects of someone as unhelpful as Ewa Mrozek. She adds complexity that isn't there and fails to answer questions. I could have stayed home and learned more on the internet. Also, she seems to lack social skills; once she decides she is done answering questions she will hang up over the phone or walk out in-person.

She is the most negative doctor I have ever had the misfortune of meeting! She concentrates on the fact that the patient is going to die than trying to give them hope. All my life I have been told that attitude is of the patient is 90% of tackling cancer. Very bad experience.

Dr Mrozek is a very intelligent,caring and understanding Doctor. I trust her judgement. Have only heard great things about her and staff. Highly recommended from other nurses. I will miss her greatly as she moves on.
