Negligence and Serious Injury!
I received an injury that should’ve never have happened. I had a medial nerve block of my cervical go terribly wrong. This procedure was done 3 prior times by med students without difficulty or negative results. The procedure is a set of 4 done each week. The last one was done by Dr Pak himself. He came rushing in hurrying everybody as if late or short of time. He placed the needle into my neck and I complained it didn’t feel right I felt it on the wrong side. He injected the contents any way, not listening to me. I felt the most pain in my life I’ve ever felt! My left side became paralyzed. He told me to go home. Thank God my wife took me to ER! The MRI showed a Spinal Cord Injury! He wanted me to go home, remember? I question this doctors character and skill. Don’t go to him! It’s at your RISK! I have the FACTS to prove it.

Stay Away From This Physician!
Dr. Pak is, by far, the worst pain management specialist I have ever been involved with. I’d highly recommend staying as far away from this physician as possible. He came into my appointment with no meaningful treatment for severe pain. Issues that were supposed to be addressed from my primary care physician referral were not addressed at all. There was a lack of empathy and when trying to get answers he was often mute without response. He was rude and disrespectful throughout our time. It was extremely bizarre. Furthermore, this resulted in prolonged and poor treatment of my disability. Things got worse after my appointment. He had written notes completely differently than what I had stated. These notes were either taken completely out of context or did not happen resulting in filing complaints with LLUHC customer relations and addendums to his notes. I’m currently considering filing a complaint to the medical board on Dr. Pak’s license.

I saw Dr. Pak for severe pain. He didn’t examine me, ask me a question or say a word to me. I asked what was his intial plan to treat my pain. Dr Pak stated“ I DON’T KNOW. I have patients to see”. He was extremely rude, unprofessional & had no ideas, info or care recommended. I was left wondering why would I want another appt to see a Dr. who made it clear he had no info nor was he interested in developing a treatment plan for my care. After 30yrs as an ICU RN, he is the worst I’ve seen.

Headaches is what he wrote I came in for which wasn't the whole story. He did CTs, I heard the tech say seizure activity during scan. Nothing said about that in report and I wasn't the only one who heard it. He put me on knockout meds too! Didn't take them after I kept falling. Got a letter in the mail that he was moving and that was that. I'm considered non compliant by those that just throw drugs at me. He's sweet and kind but dropped the ball.
