I was diagnosed with this lupus condition back in 1995 and it was extremely difficult to diagnose. Once it was diagnosed in Mexico, I came back with my records and had no insurance, but God blessed me by placing Dr, Nunnery in my path. I am extremely grateful to him; he was always caring and very clear with his explanations about anything that was going on with this systemic lupus. My frequent admissions to Valley Baptist were always short because he always knew how to treat whatever was going on at the moment. It was he who took care of this lupus and had it under control after time of caring for me, i relocated to Birmingham, AL and currently stable, but since I arrived here, I have never met a rheumatologist with such great bedside manners, detailed and informative as he was. THANK YOU, DR NUNNERY...Your patient Lucia. Staff score is based on my experience in those years late 90's, with the receptionist, she was very complicating, and she was the reason I missed my appointments. She demanded payment from me on every visit, I hated the moment I saw her and knew she would remind me how much I was still owing and how much it would be for that day, and how much did I have that day for that visit?

I never have to wait to see the doctor, they are always on time. I appreciate that immensely as other clinics I’ve waited up to two hours with a scheduled appointment time.

Dr. Nunnery and his staff are professional and friendly. They care and do not rush. Appointment times are respected, and patients are not required to unnecessarily wait to be called inside examining rooms. Dr. Nunnery spends sufficient time with me, the patient, and that time is both needed and appreciated. Dr. Nunnery provides printed documentation that explains the diagnoses, outlines exercises and gives the patient important and helpful information. Also, it is a joy to see Araceli who is a ray of sunshine with her smile, flowers and calm disposition. Thank you.
