Dr. Naiara Alvarez, MD

Who ever verifies insurance for patients need to double verify that certain insurances are accepted at this office. This office did not call me to tell me that my insurance was not accepted. I had a referral from my primary doctor to be seen here at this clinic but I never got a call from this office to let me know that my insurance was not accepted but yet I had a referral. They never called me to let me know!

Staff are wonderful, didn’t wait long. Doctor was very helpful and caring about my health issues.

I have been a patient for two years and have only seen her once, my first visit. I have been scheduled with a PA the rest of the time.

I had reported a name change on three separate phone calls and 2 appointments. I get there and they told me they needed t get myname change cleared by my insurance and it would take at least 20 minutes. I walked out I had to get home to my husband that wasnt feeling well.

Dr doesnt even see pt, but put pt with PA and NP for both times. Charges still specialist fee. Long wait time. Always have worst experience. Only reason going there is my ins only covers this person.

My visits have been fine. I have been a patient for 7 yrs. The problem is with their authorization intermediarie. This process is very confusing and takes a lengthy amount of time (1 month plus). Every other doctor I go to processes the renewal immediately. I have an email on the way home from the visit. Secondly the staff needs a class in effective communication. I was neither called back or put on hold for 40 minutes, ridiculous. This is pretty crazy since I have been going there for 7 years.

I drive through the middle of a storm to a completely different city to see this doctor for the first time. I'm super excited since I haven't been able to get my Humira due to my doctor retiring. As I come in to register the receptionist tells me they are not seeing anyone and that my appointment is now for another 2 months and that someone should have called me. No apology no emotion no nothing. I'll wait the 2 months for an appointment but it will be for a different doctor. *on the way home through the middle of the storm* I called to speak to the office manager and was unable to speak to her. A young lady later reached out and offered to have PA see me today. This was kind of them but I will wait for another doctor.

Alvarez and/or Fragoso (PA) wanted to change my diagnosis without any of my previous medical records. I took my copy of medical records totaling 10 years worth. Again, I was told that she did not agree with the diagnosis I was given back in 2006 by Dr. G. Maklouhf, from Sugarland Texas. Alvarez pretended to review my records but she was only flipping pages. I was then advised to go back and start from zero.

I have recommended Dr Alvarez several times already. She helped me get the funding required for my treatment.

Terrible.... not concerned about my condition at all. She showed no interest in my neck pain. It's hard to put into words to describe how unprofessional this doctor is. Gave me a prescription and sent me on my way. No lab work, no diagnosis, just heard what I said and left like as if she had better things to do. NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS QUACK!!!

I have severe R.A and was in need of seeing this pysican. I had been very sick these past months and was in desperate need of seeing her. Long story short this being my first time to this office I got lost on the way over. I made sure to leave my home 45 minutes prior to my visit but using Google maps the office address was not updated. I arrived 12 minutes late and they refused to see me I explained in how I got lost receptionist asked doc she said she got here lat put her back on the wait list
