Dr Mandrea has no communication skills. Did not listen, or explain anything. Talked to his assistant in the room as if I were not even there. Will not be back. Extremely long wait time too.

Dr. Mandra may be elderly but he's been looking at skin conditions all of his life. He knows what he is looking at, still smart as a whip. If surgery is needed, he no longer does surgery due to his age, he will refer you to a younger associate in his office. He has been treating my skin conditions successfully since I was a kid.

Dr Mandrea may know his stuff but he has no people skills. He did a skin biopsy and his hands were shaking the entire time. When I tried to tell him about a different problem I was having, he interrupted me and wouldn't let me continue so I gave up. I had to go back & have stitches removed by the NP and they wanted me to come back a 3rd time for a recheck & another $50 copay. I never returned. Very impersonal office.

I would definitely not recommend Dr. Mandrea. After waiting over an hour to be seen, he spent at most 10 minutes with me in the exam room. While I was trying to explain the history of the scalp issue I was having, he interrupted me several times and came to a diagnosis based on the limited information he allowed me to provide. Despite having a practice for longer than I have been alive, active listening is not a skill he has honed.
