Recent Visit
To put my comments into proper perspective I had been a patient of Dr. Mandrea for 40+ years before he retired last year! I scheduled an appointment on Monday of this week (3/6) because I was experiencing a rash on one side of my face. The nurse practitioner diagnosed my problem and prescribed a cream that I was to apply daily to treat my condition. The pharmacy that that use is a mail order operation based in Indianapolis, IN. Initially, the pharmacy told me that the cream would be delivered by USPS on the regular mail run on Tuesday, 3/7 - the cream did not arrive in yesterday's mail delivery and now the pharmacy is telling me that it will arrive tomorrow 3/9 by the end of the day! How is waiting 3+ days to receive a cream that was prescribed to treat my problem going to help me? I recently learned that Lakeview Dermatology is closing their Palos Heights office so this could be part of the reason for the absolutely poor service.
