Dr. Erin McGonigle-Geisler, DO

Dr. McGonigle is personable, professional, and knowledgeable. She asks good questions to get the right information. I appreciate that she shares the names of various medical events or conditions so that I can look into them more on my own, too. Grateful for a great PCP!

My dad had covid and all she did to help him is prescribe him $300 anti nausea meds. No steroids, no antibiotics, no antiviral, nothing. My dad was overweight and clearly not doing well. She didn't check in, she didn't ask him details about symptoms. She did nothing. My dad passed away and when my mom had to talk to her about signing the death certificate my mom asked why she didn't give him steroids and antibiotics like my mom had gotten from her doctor? Her professional opinion was that "those things don't cure covid". Now I have a mom and a dead dad so you tell me. She isn't thorough, she doesn't care, and she'll condescendingly tell you why while signing the death certificate. Hopefully this review saves somebody else.

I agree with the one star reviews. I will be looking for a different doctor. She is always in a rush which I understand working in a doc office but the way she speaks to you is dismissive of your concerns. She told me nothing I hadn't already googled before and was not willing to look any further and instead pushed for more appointments with nothing being resolved in this one.

She is awesome, smart, and listens well!

She seemed to listen to me in appointments, but when I would leave I realized she had deflected many of my main concerns. I felt like she had decided before the appointment what she was going to say to me and recommend, which was incredibly frustrating, and told me she was not willing to dig deeper to look for root causes of my health problems.

I felt Dr Mcgonigle was caring, knowledgeable and helpful in addressing my needs. She was good to make me feel comfortable. I have never had to schedule an urgent appointment.

As a young female myself in KC, I felt Dr. MicGonigle is an extremely competent doctor and took extra time to make sure all my needs were addressed as well as took the time to recommend me to specialists for other concerns I had. It is very clear how much her patients mean to her and she takes the necessary time to make sure you're cared for as her patient. I highly recommend Dr. McGonigle!

She was very inconsiderate of my needs as a patient. She seemed more concerned about getting to see the next patient than explaining anything to me. Will not be seeing her again.

Dr. McGonigle is very personable and professional. She offers a lot of information and suggestions where to learn more about your area of concern after answering questions well. She's the best doctor I've ever had. I'd recommend her highly.
