I have been with this practice for 23 years. I am not easily deterred but I am now finding a new primary care doctor. Healy has been my primary care physician for years but he is never available for appointments. Although I ask for him every time, I always see a PA. Today they told me that I haven't seen him in 3 yrs so I'm a "new patient" and I have to select a new primary doctor (because he is not taking new patients). What?? I've been a patient for over two decades, I have requested to see Healy EVERY time I have come in for the last many years, he hasn't been available, and somehow that is my fault and I'm being penalized. Wow. The only good news is that finding a new doctor can't be any worse than going back to this practice where I never see an actual doctor and rarely even see the same PA twice. Stay away is my advice.

Dr Healy is amazing !! He is so kind, down to earth, and never rushes through your appointment. He takes time to explain everything to the fullest. He is very thorough. He cares about his patients and will fit you in if needed. He has always been right there for me. Very responsive to messages on patient portal. I feel so blessed to have him as my doctor. The best... And Brenda his right hand lady is also amazing. She is all up on it too. I trust them both fully. Thanks. Tanya goroux

My family have been going to Dr. Healy for 6 years. I have a disabled daughter with a very complicated medical history. Dr. Healy is one of the most kind and intelligent Doctors I have ever taken him to. When he moved his practice from Paola to Shawnee Mission, we decided the drive to see him is well worth it. I am so appreciative for all the support and help he has given us over the years.
