I’ve had five spine surgeries performed by doctor Bendiks. The surgeries ultimately ended with me being fused from the L3 level down to the S1 level with the last surgery being done in 2014. After that surgery, I found I had contracted a staph infection. Soon after that discovery, I was back in surgery to undo the previous fusion and go through intensive antibiotic treatment. With over a month passing, Dr. Bendiks redid the L5 - S1 fusion. My pain never went away and the practice abandoned me. Fast forward to 2019, and I saw a leading surgeon at Emory orthopedic. From a CT scan, they found that the surgeries to fuse l5 to s1 never fused. I was living with no disk and felt that I was in two pieces. Add to that that I had flat back syndrome. I could not stand straight. My pain became unbearable. I contacted Dr Bendiks practice to get a second opinion. I wanted him to help me by making it right. I never received a callback from him. I give this doctor no stars for recommendation.

i was experenceing back pain due to auto accident. dr bendix and staff treated me for back pain and determined surgery was needed. my surgery was completed any corrected the problem.i would highly reccomend.them

The staff at Dr. Bendiks office is so amazing. Everything from the beginning my visits was explained to me in great detail. My surgery was without complication and the results have been better than even I expected.
