Botched the surgery, then blamed me!
Dr. Mirsky recommended a knee replacement to me aged 46. He said getting it done then would save me from needing to replace my other knee later. He replaced my knee but put it in crooked - my leg went noticeably out to the side afterwards. I had extreme pain and could not go up or down stairs even after months of PT and rehab. I had to quit my job in the field and move to an office job which I hated. He would never admit he made a mistake, just told me it happened because my leg was 'too straight' before the surgery! Eventually, 2 years later, I found a surgeon who removed the implant and redid it for me. There was so much damage he had to put rods in my thigh and shin bones to stabilize the leg. Months of more rehab and PT before I could eventually walk properly. Dr. Mirsky ruined two years of my life and never even offered an apology. I wouldn't recommend him at all.

My experience with him was horrible he got an infection in my leg and did nothing to try and get rid of the infection. After 4 surgeries in 2years I was unable to walk at all and he offered nothing but a power wheelchair which I never received. I was then told after what he did I would either have to cut my leg off or make it straight because of the damage he did. My review is find someone else that has a better review and that will not make a careless error and never even say he was sorry. I would have given him a zero if I could have. He is not pleasant or understanding especially after he messed up my knee. Thank God I found a surgeon that was able to fix some of the damage he did not a hundred percent but definitely in better condition then Miraky left me.

Dr. Mirsky was so professional and made me feel like I was the only person in the office! The staff was spot on and I was taken in the office on time with no wait both times. I had a knee issue and was in pain. The first time the pain was alleviated and then second visit pain was over! Summit Medical Group was beyond professional and I will entrust my family with the Group. All the past reviews are a joke!

The office is outdated. Doctor never discussed my x-rays. Not easy to coordinate approval from the insurance with available appointments. I complained to the Dr., but he was surprise to hear it - looks like he really doesn't care.

HOrrible bedside manners. Seems like he is not interested in being there, could not even diagnose why I was having pain in my knee which was excruciating. It was a 3 min in and out session. Don’t waste yr time going to him. I got an appt with him easily, only one available, now I know why.

Dr. Mirsky did meniscus surgery on my knee a few years ago, and a hip replacement recently. Both operations were highly successful. In process and results. I trust I never will need such surgery on either of my untouched knee or hip. If I do, Dr. M. will be my automatic choice.

I would never recommend Dr. Mirsky. He did meniscus surgery and left me in a much worse position than when I started, with the bone bending and constant pain. He did not tell me my condition would be worsen after he operated since he reduced the structural support of the knee. The PT said he put me on the short road to a knee replacement.

my 85 year old father who has dementia had an appointment and was driven via medical transport all the way from Dover NJ to Berkley Heights to see Dr Mirsky and his nurse called my 85 year old mother and told her that she made the appointment with the wrong dr and they refused to see him. they said he needed to see some dr in Morristown but didn't give clear instructions as to his name and they were well aware of the situation and confirmed the appt 2 days prior

Had total knee replacement surgery on 11/29/16. I couldn't be happier with the results, from the pre op testing, pre op prep, surgery, nursing care, PT at hospital etc. Pain management coordinator was considerate and put me at ease re the concern and my anxiety on pain. Nursing staff at Overlook Ortho were excellent, PT staff was caring yet forceful in getting me back to normal. Back functioning and walking without walker or cane in 2 weeks. Driving after 2.5 weeks (left knee)

Total hip replacement went as smoothly as I could have hoped. My only criticism is that I thought the approach was to be a direct anterior, but it was the more traditional posterior. Nonetheless, I'm back at work in under 2 weeks. Left hip so I'm able to drive myself.
