I have been with Doctor Lough for over fifteen years. He and his staff are the tops. All the other people who have made nasty comments about the Doctor and his staff are just wrong. If they were looking for perfection they should treat themselves..

This facility is a dump, and the staff is very very rude. The older woman at the desk actually hung up on me after she told me she was busy! The doctor has zero personality. Please people, heed this warning! The are better facilities all over Venice Florida!

My wife and I just started with Doctor Lough's office in 2016. We found him to be well qualified and great with patients. However, his staff at times are angry/rude over the phone. My wife is a lung cancer survivor and she called today about a recent chest x-ray. My wife was as sweet as usual and I could hear the receptionist or nurse yelling at her and saying; " I'm not psychic, I haven't read the x-ray yet." My wife was polite and kind to her on the phone, there was no excuse for it.

I have had two routine physicals with Dr. Lough and feel that they have been more than satisfactory. It is true that he is more serious and introverted in his personality. I find him to be very knowledgeable and caring and an excellent listener. He knows internal medicine and uses all the tools of his specialization to evaluate his patient. He spends time with me if I need it. His office staff is a mix of outgoing and more serious individuals. His office is not glamorous but run efficiently.

First of all your receptionist would not help us get an appointment b/c she felt it was to far for him to drive from sarasota to Nocomas..was very sharp with words with both of us..I didn't know she hung up on my friend earlier..he didn't tell me that until he heard her hang up on me..replied with she did the same thing with me! I tried to talk to her and explain what his situation was and what I just went through with the insurance company. She did not care to hear me out. She hung up on me.
