Avoid this doctor, and just be away from Kaiser in
Unprofessional, rude, late, arrogant, incompetent, and did I mention unprofessional. Won't apologize for being over 30 minutes late always (that after waiting in the waiting room for 20 minutes at least), quick visit, eye roller, rude, wrong diagnosis, usually sends you for a second opinion, then watch out for the second opinion doctor, then warns the other doctor to watch out for you, hence the same opinion, just a double fee and wasted time. Just be away from Kaiser and you'll be fine. I think Kaiser doctors aren't paid enough and dealt with like a government worker, so doesn't matter what they do, and how they treat the patients, they get an average salary and a retirement.

Dr Yang did the cataract surgery on both my eyes. While the right eye went very well, she screwed up with my left eye. I finally had to do a retina surgery with another doctor. I was very disappointed with her.

I saw Dr Elizabeth yang due to my right eye being blurry. I explained to her that glaucoma and cataract runs in my family. She dilated my eyes. I told her I only had my contacts as I have not been able to get a new pair of glasses with the optometrist since I was seeing blurry. My optometrists recommended i see an ophthalmologist first. Dr. Yang never gave me clear instructions on what I had to do after my eyes were dilated. She said I can put my contacts after thirty minutes, well I did and Almost ended in the hospital after the incident. She did not seem like she had a clue of what she was doing , she was not sympathetic once I told her I ended up getting an Eye infection, in fact she almost yelled at me for not having an extra pair of glasses, well due to covid I could not get a pair of glasses! I would never recommend her to anyone. Please be careful.. Also all the drs seem to protect one another at Kaiser.. I will be getting PPO again. I only have two pair of eyes.

The staff is professional and very accommodating. I found Dr. Yang to be informative, professional and very friendly. She answered all my questions and my cataract surgery was non eventful. Went smoothly without any problems. I highly recommend her. She will be doing my second surgery come June 2020.
