Dr. Elizabeth Wanek, MD

This Dr described herself as a sleep therapist but is not certified in sleep medicine. She overdosed me on progesterone to 'help sleep' and instead of helping sleep my hair fell out and I lost all sleep for over a week and had to go on disability for a month and a half. She did not give the facts on the disability forms as to why I lost sleep and I nearly didn't get disability. Due to this protocol she gave me, my adrenals crashed and were permanently damaged with the loss of sleep for that week and then afterwards for months and I have now been struggling for years with chronic fatigue syndrome because of her 'therapies'.

I was very sick and getting sicker and didn't know what was wrong with me. Her approach is scientific and non conventional but that was what I was looking for. I didn't want a pill pusher. The science diet she put me on went against everything I was taught for a healthy diet. She showed me the science behind her approach, ordered a lot of bloodwork so she could get a good base knowledge of my blood.
