I stuck with Elaine for 4 years and have now changed to another doctor. She is the worst doctor I have ever seen. Seemed totally uninterested in my health, very uncommunicative, and stood at her computer, not looking at me. Gave one word answers when I asked questions. Looked in one ear and not the other, said she didn't get the message when I said that I wanted to know the results of an A1c test I had asked to have done before my yearly visit. Then said that they could do it in the office, but failed to tell me that it would cost me $200 to do so. I would not recommend her to anyone who cares about their health.

Dr. Astor is the best, most caring, doctor my children and I have ever had. She let's me listen to my body and be my own advocate with her guidance. Absolutely trust her completely.

Julie
Saw her for an annual wellness appointment. She seemed annoyed that I asked her questions about my health concerns. For every concern that I had, she referred me to a different specialist. No hands on and didn't ask me any questions about anything. She never responded to my emails or phone calls. Couldn't get a follow-up appointment with her anyway, so I guess that none of it matters.

I saw this doctor for an annual physical. The only question she asked me was where I worked, and I believe that is because of my insurance, was more of a nosey thing. She did not ask me if I had any concerns, not did she ask a thing about sleep, diet, pain, etc. She never examined my skin, didn’t touch me or palpitate my abdomen, it was the shortest quickest exam ever. It felt awkward and not thorough, and not like someone I could talk to. I’ll be looking for a new primary doctor

My family member has Dr Astor as a PCP. Although she is "nice", she does not understand the care my family member gets outside of her office, her staff is rude, short, and/or clueless, they don't communicate, and she can't address more than one question per visit, "You will have to schedule another visit to discuss that issue"... really? she is supposed to be the PRIMARY contact! I'd advise you to run away and go elsewhere, but you can't get an appointment with her, anyway.
