I felt like cattle
I chose Dr. Uchio because of the reviews. I called to schedule my appointment and had to wait a few months to get in. I already knew I needed an MRI and a biopsy so this step was already a waste of time. When I got to my appointment at UCI medical center I waited for about an hour in a room just full of other people waiting for various things. I was finally called in by a nurse who took my vitals and then had me go back to the waiting room. About 30 minutes later I was called in again and put in another room to wait. Finally another nurse walked in and told me I needed a biopsy and actually scheduled it for a few months down the road. Then I waited some more and Dr. Uchio finally poked his head in and said hello and that he’d see me at the biopsy. That was a two minute interaction. I literally felt like cattle getting herded around for the goal of someone eventually slaughtering me. I was a dollar sign rather than a human being. I’ve been billed over $400 for that useless visit.

Didn't need to wait as long as usual. Maybe I should make more late-day appointments.

I was kept waiting in a very cold exam room for more than half an hour. That is in addition to waiting a long time in the waiting room. Each time I enquired about the delay I was told that it would be another 2-3 minutes. On discharge, the staff forgot to give me the lab forms ( may be the NP forgot to order it). Luckily, I checked before leaving and asked for the forms.
