Dr. Ed Burke administered anesthesia to me during surgery on my foot. Prior to the surgery, I specifically asked Dr. Burke to include nausea preventive medicine in the anesthetic as I had a tendency to get sick after surgery. He refused, insisting the 'new' anesthetics didn't require it, referring to my age, "That was WAYYY back!" I again requested the medicine but was ignored. I was sent home after surgery, and as a result of the extreme nausea, was not able to keep any of the pain medication down. The next morning I had to go to the Emergency room, was given morphine, which did not 'touch' the pain, and finally fenanyl (which can be life-threatening), plus a nausea prescription. I would recommend that this man get a new attitude' and listen to his patients
