Dr Castillo, He has been my Dr since Dr. West retired. He is compassionate about what he does. Even though I was not under his care while in the hospital, he checked on me everyday to see how I was progressing. Great bedside manner. Extremely knowledgeable! I highly recommend him!

My mom saw Dr. Castillo at Baylor All Saints FW. I am an RN and I cannot recommend him enough! He spent 1 and 1/2 HOURS sitting on my moms bed with her, explaining a shocking diagnosis in great detail and answering a million questions from us all. He did a colon resection after 2 days of antibiotics (d/t perforated colon) and has seen her EVERY single day she's been here, even before he did her surgery. He continues to be patient, kind and answer all of our questions. He is one of the most patient, kind, caring, and knowledgable doctors I have ever seen.

Excellent office staff... asked for CD disc of my cat scans in advance so he knew in advance of my issues... sat in his office not an exam room while we talked and he drew a pic of my issue and he explained in detail what and why I was having problems, along with prognosis... very knowledgeable and patient. I have complete faith in his ability as a surgeon...

Dr. Castillo is an exceptional surgeon. He performed a colorectal surgery on my wife. She is recovering nicely. Beyond his expertise is a doctor with excellent inter-personal skills who can communicate effectively with his patients and family members. My wife who has had many surgeries rates him the highest out of all her surgeons and so do I. Well Done Dr. Castillo and keep up the outstanding work! Sincerely, Henry Vazquez.

I found Dr. Castillo open, straight-forward and thorough in his explanation of the procedure that is before me. I was extremely impressed when we didn't have to wait an eternity beyond our appointment time, like so many offices. His staff was friendly. The waiting room was comfortable. I felt valued and comfortable, as he took great lengths to explain all aspects of the procedure before me. Enough so that I am considering availing myself to his services - even if out of network.
