Dr. Edith Miller is the best endocrinologist I have seen. She was my doctor throughout to pregnancies and made sure the deliveries went smoothly as I had to 2 C-sections. Dr. Miller is honest and straight forward. She is a doctor for patients who are willing to listen to honest opinion. Her bedside manner is good and staff was wonderful in assisting me with insulin pump needs during pregnancy

Best Doctor for Type One Diabetic Pregnancies!
I loved Dr. Edith Miller as my doctor. I had my precious daughter in December 1990. I saw this website and was angry. I know it was God's doings that put me in the path of Dr. Miller. She told me to call her night or day, whenever I needed her. She saw me a year before my glucose was good enough to get pregnant. Toward the end of my pregnancy she was seeing me once to twice a week and I went into labor a whole month early (type one diabetics will come early lots of times). She came to the hospital to check on my baby daughter and myself every day. After the birth I still saw her for months until my glucose could get regulated again due to hormones. She was probably the best doctor that I had ever had. I had to drive from Albemarle to Charlotte to see her but it was very worth it.

I had a rough pregnancy with my diabetes. One of her nurses named Susan spoke to me like a child bc my sugar level was too high, it was her delivery towards me. When I confronted the nurse about it, the nurse acted upset and they ganged up on me in the room and banned me from from treatment at that location. Clearly it’s the nurse’s word against mine. The nurse acted like a victim, and was pretending she was in shock. She knows in her heart she was in the wrong. Someone should do an investigation on them. I highly do not recommend. I don’t care how long she’s been a Dr., she needs to retire. Anyone in the medical field should NOT treat their patients this way. I have every right to stick up for myself and speak up when a nurse is nasty towards me. It’s called discrimination!

Dr.Miller has to be the most professional endocrinologist I have ever met! She cared for me during my very scary pregnancy! I’ve been under care of several endocrinologists for my type 1 over the last 20 years! My own personal endo, chose to send me to her because she was the ONLY ONE who could help save my child and my life also! She answered called promptly and has been the most compassionate doctor, endo or not, that I have ever seen!

I have diabetes type 2. I’m seeing Dr Miller for my diabetes care during pregnancy, she is so amazing. I really don’t understand the other bad review. She is probably the best doctor I’ve seen in many years. So caring, super patient, and with a beautiful heart. I trust her 100%.

Dr. Miller was fantastic at caring for me both before and during my pregnancy. As a Type one diabetic I would not have felt comfortable with anyone else. She and her team go above and beyond for patients - taking calls even during the night for concerns. I am very thankful for this team.

Dr. Miller was an ON call doctor for December 23, 2016 around 8pm who returned my call in reference to the gestational diabetes I have due to pregnancy. I too am a professional and I have never experienced a "doctor" so rude and inconsiderate with their words. I NEVER had to write a review explaining a bad experience with a doctor until now! She made it extremely clear that I was taking her away from her dinner with her family and made many other rude comments. She won't hear the last of my exp.

-Complete lack of interaction with Dr. Miller for gestational diabetes and later pre-diabetes diagnosis -Abrupt nature of one dietician, others were nice -NP who gave pre-diabetes diagnosis had not read case file with other health history
