Dr. Dushyantbhai Patel, MD

Dr. Patel is an extremely rude person. They asked us to pay a $500 deductible (for both, me and my wife) even before the check-up despite the fact that we had already met the deductible. When I tried to explain that there is some misunderstanding and maybe we can give a quick call to insurance which hardly takes 5mins, Dr. Patel came and asked us to pay if I wanted to proceed else he needs to get going with the next patient. We were fine with him to proceed with the next patient and can come back after checking with the insurance, he was like "I will not see you if you come back". Such behaviour is not expected from a doctor and I am glad we didn't see this doctor as I don't want a person like him to be our Primary care Doctor. After leaving from there, we checked with our insurance and he confirmed we were right and were not supposed to pay.

Dr Dushyant Patel has been quite serious and dedicated at managing my general health, especially stabilizing my high blood pressure. It took him upward of 3 years to dial-in the right drug-combo cocktail. Then there's the type ii diabetes which he has been helping to control, focusing not only on prescribing the right medications but social encouragement on body weight control.
