Dr. Marland was very knowledgeable, and reviewed all very inclusive testing in great detail. I've never felt that a doctor was as caring and committed to my good health.

Dr. Marland gives a sense of knowing a lot, but not at all being a know it all. He listens very patiently, and spends at least as much time listening as speaking. He does a great job explaining the recommendations he makes with the skills of a good teacher: unlike my last physician whose strategy seemed to be about bullying you into compliance, he works to make sure you understand the issues. For example, he gave me a fast tutorial on understanding the elements of a 12-lead EKG. (And, not because there was anything unusual with mine, but because I’d offhandedly said I’d take his word that it looked good, so he spent the time to show why that was so.) He also treats his staff with kindness and respect (no wonder Anna is so good). He also seems to have a great referral network of similarly-oriented professionals. It’s hard to think of anything he could do still better.

Great Doctor, very competent, thoughtful, thorough and caring. His nurse Anna is as good as he is. Highly recommended. MDVP is also a fabulous concierge service.

Dr. Marland takes a personal interest in your health. He reviews the result of your physical in great detail and makes recommendations accordingly. You can tell that he is very happy when your results are good

Dr. Marland has been my family practitioner since he joined the MDVIP program. I also saw him a few times before MDVIP when he was partnering with my former doctor (now retired) in a typical PPO practice. In both cases he was thorough, patient, calm, and helpful. He treated me like an intelligent friend. Since he joined MDVIP he has had much more time to devote to each appointment and makes a notable effort to get to know his patients. I enjoy talking to him and always get good advice. He is available by email or telephone for quick questions, never insisting on an office visit if not necessary. My wife also signed up with him and MDVIP and agrees with my assessment.

Answered all my questions and explained my test results in terms I could understand. Help me plan a path forward with emphasis on diet and exercise .

Dr. Marland is a fraud! Perhaps a psychopath as he shows no care for his patients. He seems to just be there to collect his money and send you on your way. Zero compassion and cold as ice. I feel sorry for his kids.

Dr. Marland has ZERO compassion or caring for his patients. He is also reckless with dire diagnosis. Almost 10 years ago he told my wife she had 6 months to live. Not only was he completely wrong and needlessly scared the heck out of us, when my wife started to cry over the fatal diagnosis, he told us to take it outside as he needed the room for his next patient. Wow! Can you anybody imagine someone being so uncaring and dis-compassionate?

This doctor is now a member of the MDVIP network of medical professionals. Dr. Marland's office staff does not reciprocate on referrals from other MDVIP doctors under MDVIP's Family Plan Benefits. In order to be see by Dr. Marland, you must join the MDVIP network at a cost of $450. You might be better off going directly to an Urgent Care facility. Rated follow-up "low" as no follow-up phone calls were received from either the doctor or his staff.
