Unprofessional and uncaring
I was involved in a bad accident, and my eardrum was completely swollen. The start to look into my ear and tried to tell me everything was fine when I told him I couldn’t hear out of the ear and I also knew something was wrong. He claimed I should find another doctor cause he doesn’t feel like going to court, and having to testify the damages I feel this guy should not be a doctor his unprofessionalism And loyalty to his industry is trash

Visit was very short. Less than 5 minutes He cut me off when trying to explain my symptoms. Symptoms were : ears feeling blocked or full, tinnitus, dizziness, balance problems and hearing loss. Used the scope to look in my ears and said nothing can be done for those issues. With no further exploration or diagnostic work up. I definitely will be looking for a new ENT.

I do not know the doctor's work but I know his office workers are terrible to deal with. This is the first doctor whose office would not make an appointment with me. I am over 70 and I've made hundreds of appointments throughout the years. Firstly, I was told that since the doctor is out of my insurance network they wouldn't make an appointment. Consequently, I called my insurance company and discussed my options with them. The insurance company stated that they could grant an authorization of in network approval. I called Horlbeck's office again and explained my conversation with them and so we went to the next step of gathering information. The office worker requested that I send my records to her personal unsecure email: kaciross.ent@gmail.com. I was then asked for my social security number, which no prior doctor demanded but this office did. I requested their written protocol on how they would keep SS #'s secured and the office manager said they don't have one. No appointment made.

This physician is the most unprofessional, arrogant man my child has ever seen. Not only did he abandon his patients for months, it took 7 phone call to receive a return call from him, only for him to scream on the other end. Literally scream. He was the one who told me to call for my son’s CT results, but never followed through until I filed a complaint.

One of the nicest and most professional Physicians (my daughter) sees. He is always friendly and talks to our daughter to include her in the "whats going on". I would recommend him for ANY ENT needs for your child.

Dr. Horlbeck had big shoes to fill when he took over at the P'cola Nemours for Dr. Chicola. It has been a very smooth transition. He is very down to earth and takes the time to explain and answer questions. My daughter's case is uncommon and he has been amazing at reviewing everything and with follow-up. He's also comedic at appropriate times which is a nice release :)
