Dr. Dracina Wood, MD

Dr Wood took over via patient portal message, accepting me for a biopsy that I was having to argue with my other gynecologist's nurse that it had already been scheduled, I just knew my pain and wanted something more than just ibuprofen. Dr Wood stepped into the chat and offered that she would do a cervical block to help my pain. She even did a pap smear that my previous gynecologist failed to obtain enough tissue for and they found something! I am also scheduled for surgery to do further testing as she understands my concerns and accepts my symptoms and family history. She explained things extremely well, told me what she was doing as she did it and frequently asked if I was okay. Genuinely thinking of switching if she will have me. Hoping my D&C with her will provide me with some answers to move forward with!

She's very informative and Her bedside manner is amazing. She's very gentle and I feel like non-judgmental

I saw Dr. Wood when I was a lot younger, and I recently came back and I’ve always liked going there. Everyone is kind and very thorough. They are also quick with getting back to you over the phone and always knowledgeable about my questions and concerns.

Dr. Wood was very kind and has a wonderful bedside manner. She listened and explained thoroughly. She covered all my different options and answered all my questions. I didn't feel rushed at all and her staff was kind too.

I was so fortunate to be able to get an appointment with Dr. Wood the day after I called in. She is the picture of kindness. She explained everything to me and to my husband as well. She is one of the best doctors I have ever seen

Always gets me into a room within 15 minutes, always kind and courteous, very knowledgeable, listens to me and my concerns. Absolutely the best Dr I've ever been to!!!

I originally really enjoyed Dr. Wood and thought they were a great fit until after they surgically removed my right ovary (laparoscopic oophorectomy) stating that it was the best option. After they removed the ovary they found that cyst was in fact benign, but this is not my biggest issue with this doctor and their nursing staff. Granted I was on vacation after the surgery and apparently I didn't call them back as quickly as i they needed. When I did call them back their nurse was incredibly rude to me. Three weeks after my surgery (back from vacation) when I came back into the office due to intense pain in my body the nursing staff and Dr.Wood were very cold and rude to me. As i sat on the table and cried to the doctor about my pain she stated that I was probably just tired. I do not recommend ever seeing this doctor. After seeking medical attention elsewhere I have found that I am in need of another surgery and that I am not JUST TIRED.

She is so amazing!!! Very calming and comforting! Definitely would recommend Dr. Wood!!!

not all about Dr. Wood, it is about the other doctors in her office as well. My daughter has been going to them throughout her first pregnancy. They have made her feel stupid for some of her questions, and made her feel as if she has been an inconvenience to them. She is 36 weeks pregnant and considering changing hospitals, as this one has been unbelieveably inconsiderate to her feelings and concerns.

I had two miscarriages while seeing Dr. Wood. She had no interest and was the most uncaring person I've met. Made me feel like me and my child didn't matter. Told me after two miscarriages they usually do testing to see if they can find out why, she didn't offer and when I showed interest in finding out why she changed the subject to finding out how I wanted to pass my baby. Do not recommend. Office staff was nice but that's about it.
