Amazing Dr
I switched to Dr Sanfilippo after years of getting no answers at another practice. I left today feeling validated, heard and with a clear treatment plan. The Dr listens, is gentle during exams, understands endometriosis and takes time without rushing you. She explained everything I was concerned about and addressed the concerns with a clear treatment plan. I felt so comfortable leaving today that I cried because for years I’ve suffered with endometriosis and been an advocate for others and this Dr knows extensively about this disease and doesn’t rush to medicate unless needed. I’m so elated to have switched to her and trust is something you feel right away and I felt that

Dr. Sanfilippo has been my doctor for 22 years. She saw me through 2 pregnancies and treatment/surgeries for severe endometriosis. I love her! She is always so attentive and informative and I feel like she really listens and cares about what's going on with me. I find her very easy to talk to and she makes difficult issues easier to deal with because she takes as much time as you need. I don't mind seeing Amanda for routine appointments, but I make a point of scheduling with Dr. Sanfilippo every now and then just to check in with her since she knows my history. If you want to see the doc, all you have to do is ask!

First, I have been going here for years, and have seen Sanfilippo herself maybe a couple of times. She did not deliver my child. I have to say I love her ancillary staff and the NP, but when I DO see her, it is like she doesn't even review my chart before coming in. Does not remember my history, my kids, their births, that I have PCOS, etc. and acts surprised to hear it all every time. This pregnancy she tried talking me into a D&C based on how she felt about my ultrasound. Called me days after her NP said everything looked great (WHILE DRIVING IN HER CAR) and said "I don't want you to have any hope" and got irritated when I questioned why!! Thank God I followed my gut and refused, because I am carrying a genetically perfect baby girl. She never apologized and acted like it never happened. Also forgot I had a SCH. Asks me "Did the nurse find a heartbeat on the Doppler?" when coming into the room. How about you read my chart or ask her yourself??? She is awful. I am switching ASAP.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sanfilippo for 24 years. She has always provided me with excellent care. Her bedside manner is outstanding - she is knowledgeable, empathetic, always taking her time to explain and answer any questions. In the years that I have been a patient of hers, she has created an environment in which I have always been made to feel comfortable, confident in the proper care I received and reassured about any concerns I had. I am grateful to have her as part of my medical care and I would highly recommend her. Thank you Dr. Sanfilippo!

Dr Sanfilippo is an excellent OB/GYN with an excellent staff. I consulted Dr Sanfillippo in my first trimester of pregnancy but unfotunately had to discontinue as it was too far for me to reach to her office for consultation. I had a very tough time during my pregnancy and had a problem of motion sickness so I did not want to travel long. I wish my husband and me could have an apartment close to Dr Sanfillippo's Office so that I could have got the best care for my prenancy,

She allows you time to consider options. She has excellent skills and I trust her. Her wonderful staff is very responsive. I have been going to this doctor less than three years now and boy am I glad! I recently was admitted to the ER for severe vaginal bleeding. I made an appointment and over the phone and she had the nerve to say "well you're not bleeding TO DEATH!" WHAT?!? When I got there she saw for herself how bad it was, She also left me in the room with a mini box of TISSUES to clean up, mind you I had to yell for help since I nearly passed out! UNREAL-totally overlooked my case, PLEASE don't let it be you!

Do not go to this doctor! She said my daughter needed surgery to take care of a cyst. On the day of the surgery about an hour before going in, the doctor said "We don't HAVE to do it" ....WHAT! As a parent this is an extremely scary time. We went ahead with the surgery but now I wish we hadn't. She barely even talked to us after the surgery. I believe the doctor screwed something up because my daughter has constant pains in her abdomen. Dr. Sanfilippo lacks a bedside manner. 0 stars!!!!!!!!
