Six Years of Pain
There were no patients in the waiting room. I should have left when I saw that! I had hip replacement, then rehab for 2 months. Hip was okay at first, but the knee issue I felt when I came out of anesthesia has worsened in six years to the point that I'm in constant pain. Another orthopedic surgeon will have his neurologist study the nerve damage from Litke's surgery to try to fix it. My calf on the surgery leg has a diameter half an inch less than the other calf. The muscle has atrophied due to the nerve damage. It's getting more difficult to walk because of the knee pain and nerve damage. Please find another surgeon! I waited an hour and a half to see Dr. Yousuf last week and it was worth it.Am having an MRI and hope they see something caused by the hip replacement surgery that he can fix. I was very active. Now I sit with ice on my hip and knee all day long and at night in bed to reduce the pain enough to sleep. Frozen water bottles are good for that.BEWARE OF LITKE!!

Dr. Litke , Connie and the rest of the her staff have always treated me with kindness and respect. Dr. Litke performed both knee replacements, carpal tunnel and shoulder surgeries. I have not had any complications. She is very patient and explains in detail what her plan for your treatment is, before during and after care. I would highly recommend her practice for any Orthopedic health issues that you may be experiencing with out any hesitation.

I have a damaged thumb joint from an injury many years ago. This damage and arthritis frequently causes extreme pain in this thumb. Although I'm not ready for surgery, I was ready for relief and Dr. Litke gave me a shot. How she knows specifically where to place the needle, I will never understand but pain in this joint was ebbing away before I even left the parking lot. She is amazing!

My experience with Dr. Like has been that she is not only a skilled professional but is also a very kind and compassionate person which for me made my decision really easy to be one of her patients. I had and have absolute confidence in her skills and would recommend her to anyone absolutely anyone who needs a trustworthy compassionate highly skilled orthopedic surgeon. I had a total knee replacement on my left knee and I'm very satisfied at the outcome.

Dr. Litke replaced my knee June 12. My surgery last 21/2 hours but, I was left in recovery for 8 hours! She came down to recovery but, never came to see me or check on me. I was told there were no beds available and there was only 1 floor for knee replacement etc.. Dr. Litke knew this but didn't make sure I had a room after my surgery which is something she could have requested. I finally got a room around 8:30pm. She didn't give my the PCA until midnight. Do no harm, she did a lot of harm.

Dr. Litke did my knee replacement and rotator cuff. She took plenty of time to answer all my questions and did a fabulous job on both! I am really grateful to have found such a caring and skilled Doctor like her. I have recommended her to everyone when the need for a good Ortho comes up in conversation.
