Dr. Deniz Dayicioglu, MD

Simply put, Dr. Dayicioglu gave me by body back. After a diagnosis of breast cancer, a bilateral mastectomy and a year of being flat, she performed DIEP Flap surgery on me and restored what cancer took. It was a 12-hour surgery, that she performed. She told me, she stays in surgery until everything looks perfect; and it does look perfect. She is caring and smart and does this because she loves it. During our first meeting, she asked about me and told me, we'd be spending a lot of time together, so she wanted to know me. She has all my respect and I would recommend her to anyone going through breast reconstruction.

Dr. Dayicioglu did my single mastectomy and reconstruction (that was all in one procedure), then reduction on the other side. She was recommended to me by some nurses in the department, and the nurses know! From the minute I met with her, I felt like I was in excellent hands and I could relax. She gave me good counsel about my case beforehand. She is clearly very experienced, professional, and highly skilled. Both surgeries went without a hitch, and they are healing well. The residents on her team are also excellent.

Not only have I personally received care from her, bit I am in touch with a lot of her patients through the facebook group who all share similar experiences. This experience has exceeded my expectations. Dr. Deniz Dayicioglu, MD is hands down the very best breast plastic surgeon. I look and feel better now than I did before. Her ability to create a natural looking and feeling breast with very little scarring is phenomenal. She is a natural artist. Very pleasant and straight forward surgeon. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to be treated like an individual and get the best results.

Dr. Dayicioglu did my double mastectomy with reconstruction and I am beyond happy with my results. Even the scars on not bad. She does a fantastic job as a surgeon, period! I am surprised by the less than 5 star reviews and hope those patients get the answers they need. I've seen hack jobs by other doctors and mine look wonderful considering the nature and complexity of the surgery.

Dr. Dayicioglu is an artist. I had DIEP flap reconstruction immediately after my double mastectomy. Her comment to me at my follow ups of "very positive cosmetic results" indicate her professionalism and the seriousness with which she approaches the purpose of her work. She's compassionate and cares deeply about her work and her patients. I feel beyond fortunate that she and her nurses were with me on my journey.

Dr. Dayicioglu is the most talented and sincerest doctors I have ever met. She is dedicated and is a perfectionist; qualities needed to produce outstanding results! I cannot day enough good things about her! Some may say she is quiet and reserved, but that is a good thing. She is an artist, her mind is always looking at the canvas and figuring out how to improve it. I recommend everyone to have her as their surgeon! I had the DIEP and love my results! I look normal again!!!!

I was very happy with the office visits and the talents of Dr. Dayicioglu. Her staff is very kind and caring. Dr. Dayicioglu took time to answer all of my concerns and went over in detail the surgery i was having. She is always smiling and engages in delightful conversation with my Husband and I on every visit. I would most certainly recommend her "perfectionist" talents to anyone having Breast Surgery. She spent a considerable amount of time explaining my procedures.

I had an operation with her last year. Everything went fine with the operation. The problem is the insurance company is now telling me it was not medically necessary. Supposedly, (I asked several times) the operation HAD been pre-approved by my insurance and now they have reversed their decision and her office wants me to pay them back. This is totally disgusting and totally NOT MY FAULT so I will appeal and the reputation of your office is going to go way down.

Dr Dayicioglu is good - really good. But she is kind of weird and that seems to put people off. Don't think you need another doctor - she is good at what she does, gives good results and addresses the medical and aesthetic issues with a perfectionist attitude, skill, knowledge and expertise. You really couldn't get a better doctor than her and her staff and interns are fantastic. She just takes a bit of getting used to but you do want her as your doctor!

Her upbeat personality and enthusiasm were a draw for me. I spoke to 2 patients in her waiting area who were undergoing reconstruction, and both were extremely positive about their experience. She addressed my issue, offering several options for breast reconstruction. I choose DIEP, and so far I am very happy. A tummy tuck is included with this procedure, so who wouldn't want that? The breasts look and feel incredibly real. The tummy tuck looks like original equipment: happy, happy, happy.

Don't feel like she listened to my concerns. When asked for further explaination, she sounded like she muttered under breath, "why...I don't know why this is so difficult." She didn't really look at my wound and they have no plans to look at the scans I brought . My case is complicated in that it's a very complex wound...it's been around for five years and two other people have tried close it. I told her of my fear this one failing too and she said "Why should it fail? I'm doing it."
