Maybe it is because I see him through the VA but that shouldn’t matter. Yes. He has a good bedside manner but when an MRI has tons of lesions, it is more than headaches. Previous physician referred to my condition as CIS waiting for more neurological changes (hopefully none) but valued what I was saying. Hats off to Dr. Chetan Ghandy ( the best dr ever) but two hour commutes wear on you when not feeling great. Anyways, Dr Konstas seemingly could care less and only wants to throw migraine meds at a white matter disease patient, not giving a care about side effects or new symptoms.

Dr. Konstas is a superb neurologist. I don't think there are enough rave reviews about him. He started as my neuro (for Relapsing Remitting MS) 3 years ago and he is hands down the best neurologist that I've come across in the 12 years since my diagnosis. His bedside manner is incredible, he's very personable, and he really does listen to you and offer suggestions and research information about the potential fix to ANY issues I've had. He doesn't hesitate to offer information, he is well versed in all things Multiple Sclerosis. Trials, drug information, side effects etc. He is thorough in explaining. He is an exceptional physician. 5 stars, hands down.

Dr. Konstas COMPLETELY misdiagnosed by son after a car accident. He kept claiming he battled migraines and kept increasing his meds. My son has a severe nerve entrapment causing debilitating headaches and this doctor was horrific in listening to his symptoms telling him he should muscle through the pain. NEVER EVER GO TO HIM!!! He doesn't know what he is talking about. Very narrow minded!

I'm surprised Dr. Konstas hasn't had anyone take time to give the positive reviews he deserves. I've been in the medical field 40 years, now retired. I've spent many of those years searching for a Neurologist who cares about & understands migraine & pain. He has a great bedside manner, spends undivided time listening & explaining concerns & possible treatments, incl my neck & back issues. Every MRI, test or treatment I get a full in-depth professional opinion. He has helped me tremendously.

Not acceptable care for epilepsy. It is very basic for blood levels to be done for epilepsy medications. He refused. He gives what sounds like valid reason...BUT I lost a LOT of weight and am concerned that I may be on too much medication. So here I go looking for another doctor. I was willing to pay the copays if he would consider doing this but, I guess he's ok with losing a patient. Shame. He seemed knowledgeable and told me I had MS. (he's correct) but seems to be interested in money only.
