Dr Reddy is an excellent doctor. He’s been treating me for 5 years. I moved here from Long Island NY where the doctors were unable to help me. Dr Reddy put me on a medication regimen that eradicated my pain completely. I highly recommend him. He’s very insightful and knowledgeable.

Compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. I have been treated by Dr. Linga Reddy for several years for migraines and dystonia. He is the third neurologist who has treated me. He is superior to the others. My condition and quality of life has improved considerably. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Linga Reddy provides excellent medical care!
I have been under Dr. Linga Reddy's care for the past six months, and I can confidently say that his care exceeds all my expectations. Not only is he exceptionally professional, but his approachable demeanor also makes each visit reassuring. He was referred to me by both my primary care physician and an ENT physician. When I first sought his expertise, the field of neuroscience was unfamiliar to me. Still, Dr. Linga Reddy has a remarkable ability to explain complex medical information clearly and understandably. He takes the time to discuss every aspect of my condition and the results of the extensive testing he has ordered, ensuring that I feel informed and involved in my care.I am truly grateful for his thorough and compassionate approach to neurology. I highly recommend Dr. Linga Reddy to anyone seeking a knowledgeable, thorough, and empathetic neurologist.

Dr Reddy is the best.
My first visit with Dr Reddy was in HCA south Tampa hospital. At that time Dr Reddy had excellent bed side manor. He was very kind and he understood my needs. I later had an appointment visit in his office for a follow up. At that time he also had a great chair side manor. He was very kind and explained every thing so I could understand everything. I recommend Dr Reddy very highly Job well done Dr Reddy.

Thorough and kind
Dr. Linga Reddy is very friendly, kind, understanding and thorough. I have been seeing him now for four years after a severe case of vertigo and indications on a brain scan that could have been related to MS. He gave me options of treating the issue conservatively or going straight to a lumbar puncture. Since my symptoms had improved with therapy, I opted not to go with the lumbar puncture and follow up with a scan every couple of years to determine if any changes are present. There has been no change in the test results so far. I appreciate that, although it would probably have made him feel more comfortable to perform the lumbar puncture, he didn’t pressure me and allowed me to make the choice. He always listens to my concerns and gives me a reasonable answer for all my questions. He has offered suggestions for my overall health, which I greatly appreciate. I have read some of the other reviews about office staff, and while the current staff is not particularly friendly, they

He's OK, but office staff kills it.
He's good, would continue to go to him - but his staff! They're terrible! Can't go here anymore b,c there's no way to schedule an appointment. It took the primary care doctor's office almost a week to get one - and it's 5 months away... In response to a seizure...Don't even bother trying to contact this office. From the very beginning 3 years ago, after being referred by the primary and after more than a week of calling, I had to go to the office in person to set an appt. Also, at one point someone from the office left me a voicemail while I was working telling me the appt LESS THAN 24 HOURS AWAY, that'd been scheduled more than 3 months earlier and for which I'd taken a day off, was cancelled. Turns out they had some kind of extended in-office lunch sponsored by a computer system rep or something...To his credit Dr. Reddy did squeeze in the appt, in large part b,c I refused to leave. This is a sad comment on the state of care now - it's all about money - not the Dr's fault.

Comprehensive visit
Dr. Linga Reddy is the most professional and knowledgeable doctor of neurology we have encountered. He took his time to evaluate and listen to the needs of the patient, resulting in a full and beneficial appointment. He inspires confidence that your condition will improve and that the proper tests and treatment will result. Would definitely recommend him to anyone who has had a stroke or is in need of a competent neurologist.

Do not attempt to speak to anyone
You will not be able to call this office and expect to speak to a staff member. It is only leave a message and hope that your Doctors assistant is not on vacation or they won't even announce your Dr's name for extension to leave a message. 4 tries the day of my appointment had a Family emergency and again tried to reach a human being and no extension number left for Dr Linga Reddy. Left a message for another person's extension explaining why I couldn't make my appointment. Now you want to charge me $100 for no show. No show in my opinion is zero notification or attempt to contact a staff member. Good luck trying to get to talk to a staff member.

Please do NOT make an appointment with Dr. Linga Reddy. He has nonexistent bedside manner, and dismissed my specific instructions not to touch my neck due to preexisting herniations and limited function/mobility. As a result, even though my pain tolerance is quite high, I cried during EMG from SEVERE pain in my neck; it caused a 3-day migraine. The only POSITIVE in the office is Melissa and the rest of the front office staff. They are quite courteous, even though I think management is violating OSHA work space regulations, as some of the employees barely have room to back up in their chairs; they are back-to-back in the "front office;" conditions seem a TIGHT proximity. Also, I understand any office can be old, but furniture/floors/walls need MAJOR cleaning, especially in the patient diagnostic rooms. Furniture is missing formica and is cracked-showing bare wood areas. I wholeheartedly DO NOT recommend this doctor and will find another neurologist within network with my insurance plan.

I saw Dr.Linga Reddy on April 15, 2021 for the 1st time when I was referred by my PCP. He was "WONDERFUL". Listened to everything I said, asked a ton of questions, examined me and was very explanatory on everything - Great MD!!!!! At the time of check-out I was told by the front office (Dan ??) that Dr.Reddy wanted to refer me to a rheumatologist for some testing and that he wanted me to go and get some blood work ( I did this blood work in less than 5 business days). He said office procedure was to send over my patient information to the rheumatologist office and that they would verify with my insurance and then call me to schedule my appointment. On June 15th (2 months later), I still hadn't heard anything from either MD office so I called Dr.Reddy's office and left a message for Shirley, his nurse (ext 230) at 2:15pm. I had to call her again on June 18th and leave a 2nd message because she never called the first time. She finally called a while later that day and said that my r

Dr. Reddy was very dismissive and condescending towards me. He kept telling me that my issues were due to "stress and sleep". He made several referrals and stated several times he doesn't know and will refer out as they can better assist. He acknowledged that I was not happy with how he was dismissing and stated that one of the referrals may be able to give me better answers if I'm not happy with his. It felt like I was bothering him by being there, he did not listen to any of my concerns that I brought up and kept saying it was "Stress and sleep." After pressing and stating that it was not due to stress and sleep he finally stated I don't know why this is happening. He couldn't wait to get me out of the room. It was very frustrating. I'm not sure I will be returning to see him. The practice as a whole seemed good, hopefully they will be able to get me in with another provider. A patient should never feel dismissed or invalidated by a medical professional.

My PET was misinterpreted as normal. I was misdiagnosed with migraines and idiopathic POTS. Dr Reddy refused to test for autoimmune dysautonomia. When I got the test elsewhere, and it came back positive, Dr Reddy kept yelling at me, dismissied the results, and refused immunotherapy. I wasted a year being very ill, and ended up at Mayo Clinic, where they found several abnormalities in the same PET scan, and I was properly diagnosed with autoimmune encephalopathy and autoimmune autonomic ganglionopathy. Mayo recommended immunotherapy and I recovered 80-90%. But I still have residual brain damage because of the delay in immunotherapy. I wish I had gone to Mayo Clinic earlier and not wasted time with Dr Reddy.

Dr Reddy was fine for our visit, but when more information was needed by our Insurance Company to approve a Pet Scan, Dr Reddy ordered, no one responded in over 6 weeks. The office (Shirley) was contacted numerous times by myself and the scheduling staff for the Pet Scan, we were all greeted with rudeness. I (the patient's advocate) particularly was told to stay out of it in a very rude and unprofessional way. We have yet to receive the needed information. I will not return to Dr Reddy's office or him because of this experience. The lack of cooperation made me doubt the diagnosis. If it was that important to have a scan why was there no response to help get that accomplished.

Dr. Linga Reddy is very kind, understanding, and really listens to what you have to say. He doesn't rush you, and is easy to communicate with. You get the feeling he is truly concerned about providing the best care possible, and follows through without giving up. I trust his judgement and would highly recommend him to anyone. In addition, his office staff is always very helpful, reliable, and easy to reach on the phone.
