Dr. Deepika Lekawa, MD

This doctor who also goes by the name of Sajee Lekawa does not seem very knowledgeable for being an internal medicine physician. She was inattentive, rushed, and somewhat uninterested during the initial appointment. The follow ups were even worse since she did not seem to have studied the patient's chart prior to the appointment. All in all, she misdiagnosed me which was at great expense to me needless to mention it delayed me from receiving proper and timely care. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

She doesn’t listen to her patients. She has misdiagnosed patients. I’m glad she is no longer practicing as a general practitioner.

I should have done this a long time ago. Compassionate and took the time to listen. I didn’t feel rushed. The Dr. was cautious and ran some extra tests, that likely saved me from a major hospital emergency.

Dr. Lekawa obviously cares about the well-being of her patients. She is honest and forthright, listens and explains things very well. All staff are nice and the wait time is almost nonexistent.

I have been seeing Dr. Lekawa as my primary care physician for several years and she is very attentive to my needs. Whenever I was sick, she was able to see me same day or next day allowing me to get treated without going to urgent care. My wait times are always very short which is important when I am busy with work. It is also a huge benefit that I can get X-rays and have my blood drawn in the same clinic. Dr. Lekawa is pretty cool all around.

I absolutely love Dr. Lekawa and her assistant Valerie! They are both very professional and caring......they treat me like family. That's why I drive all the way from Temecula to see them!!
