Dr. Velasco listens carefully and also reviews records before she sees you so she understands what is happening with your other physicians.

The office staff were helpful and friendly. Very short wait time to see the doctor. Dr. Velasco was GREAT! She is very thorough and was truly delightful. I am so glad she is my new PCP, as I feel she truly cares about me and my health.

A doctor without compassion.I was admitted at UCI for 8 days 2 nights at the ICU.I had septic shock due to strep pneumonia.I was sick for more than 3 wks.I was asking her if I can extend my rest & recovery period for 1 more week before going back to work and she didn’t allow me despite of still feeling weak and shaky.She said that all my numbers were good and she can’t lie.But during that time I’m still feeling weak and I need more time to rest (since the nature of my job as a nurse is really hard) she said that what I’m saying is just something subjective.Not only that when I told her that I just want to take care of myself this time coz have a history of breast cancer had mastectomy Sept 2022 coz when I was in the hospital,I felt horrible I thought I was going to die & this doctor said to me Oh it doesn’t mean that you had sepsis you’re going to die. I was so surprised on how carelessly & without compassion she responded to me for I was in a lot of pain discomfort hard of breathing

This is my first experience with UCI Health and I was pleasantly surprised! The facility was very clean, check-in was quick and easy, and no wait for Dr. Christina Valesco. Upon meeting her, she was very professional and enthusiastic and came prepared to discuss my medical history as she had researched me a lot. She set me up for lab work and a follow-up appointment. I'm very happy with how I was treated and the genuine care I received.

Dr. Velasco is my primary physician and I appreciate how we work as a team when it come to my medical care.

I am new to UCI health coming from years at Providence. This was definitely one of the smoothest transition of care i had from scheduling a new patient appointment to completing my visit with Dr. Velasco. She provided me with plenty of information of how she cares for her patients and explained everything well to me. I will be recommending her to my significant other.

Hello, the appointment went well. The only thing is that we didn't have time to finish the questionnaire because she was getting to know me as a patient, but then she also had another patient be scheduled after me. I would think as a first patient you would schedule at least 30 to 45 minutes to get to know the patient and then schedule a patient afterwards. So we didn't get to finish with all the questionnaire, so I thought I'd share that. Service was great, they were kind, everything was great. Thank you.

Dr. Velasco is very professional and she knew exactly what I needed from what I described to her and she made the referrals that I needed. So yeah, she was really good. I would recommend her. Thank you. Bye.
