Doctor is Fantastic - Her Office, Not So Much
My previous experience with Dr. Shaw was extremely positive. However, I tried making an appointment recently after being hospitalized with a GI infection, and was told there are no appointments available for 3 months. I would hope that Dr. Shaw would find my situation a bit more urgent, and this is her office making the decisions, but who knows. If a physician is so booked out that they can't make room for an existing patient, with a recent medical emergency that requires follow up, they probably should stop taking more patients!

Dr. Shah is the epitome of professionalism and is extremely knowledgeable. From checking in at my first visit to the follow up for the care she provided, she and her staff were top notch the entire way. I highly recommend Dr. Shah.

During my initial appointment with Dr Deepa Shah, she asked important questions and from my responses, she seemed to have a precise insight of my problem and the course of action needed. Following the colonoscopy Dr Shah performed at North Valley Surgery Center, I was given a copy of Dr. Shah's writeup which made it obvious to me she had been extremely thorough. The written results of her Findings, Impressions, Recommendations and Images were extensively detailed and complete. The treatment she recommended for my collagenous colitis has been successful. I would strongly recommend Dr Shah to family and friends!

Dr. Shah has gone above and beyond in helping me with my stomach issues. She is very caring, compassionate and professional. My brother is also her patient and he loves her as much as I do! I highly recommend her to all family and friends.

Dr Shah is an awesome, caring knowledgeable, compassionate GI specialist. I would highly recommend her to anyone and have to family & friends. Colon cancer is very survival if caught early and she makes the whole colonoscopy experience a breeze!

Dr. Shah is competent and professional. A pre-procedure consultation was very thorough and the subsequent endoscopic scan was successful. During the procedure she even invited a colleague for consultation. Her explanation of results was clear and precise.

She performed 2 procedures on me, there were complications both times. She didn't spend 5 minutes explaining.
