Not a fan
Dr W was very cold and clinical. I have seen him several times for hand arthritis injections and a bad injury (sprain) of my left hand. He was never very helpful in treatments. My husband accompanied me on my last visit and agreed Dr W has zero personality.

I would like to thank Dr Worthingstun and all his staff at Georgia Foothills Hand Surgery for the care, compassion and prayers I received after I had finger amputation from an accident in my garage. They are all professional people that did a great job! I highly recommend them to anyone that may need their services.

A quality experience
Was seen promptly. Office staff friendly. Dr was through in his exam and I felt good about diagnosis and treatment plan. He listened to me about my concerns.

He was very abrupt and actually sighed and rolled his eyes when I asked what he was putting in my chart (though he quickly tried to cover that reaction and claimed that he just "moves quickly in his chair"). I was simply trying to understand what was a scary situation and wanted to know what notes he was adding since he seemed to be typing quite a bit more than what he had told me verbally. Nobody in the office was wearing masks or observing COVID safety practices, when I asked if that was because everyone had been vaccinated, I was answered with a terse, "No." (I realize peoples' vaccination status is none of my business, but as a medical professional, I believe it's irresponsible to not observe safety practices in a medical environment.) While I fully believe that everyone should practice their religion of choice, I feel that asking patients to pray with him crosses a professional line.

I had an appointment with Dr. Worthingstun because of joint pain and swelling in several joints in my hands. He was very thorough and patient. He took xrays and made a diagnosis. He explained my treatment options and we came up with a plan. His treatment has greatly allieviated my discomfort and has enabled me to continue my work. I highly recommend Dr. Worthingstun.

Dr. Worthingstun is one of the most compassionate and kind doctors I have ever had. He was truly concerned about my comfort, and even called me himself to give me biopsy results. I have never had a dr. who gave me their cell number when I was recovering. His staff is amazing, also!

Dr. Worthingsun is compassionate, kind, and knowledgeable. I have been having steriod shots in 3 of my finger joints for years. They are not relieving the pain any longer; so, my next option is to have joints replaced. I have all the confidence in the world with Dr. Worthingsun performing the surgery because he know with God’s guidance he will do an effective job. I have and would highly recommend him to my family and friends.

He is an amazing Dr. not only is he very knowledgeable about what he is doing and what was going on with my hand he really cared about my pain and fixing the problem. You don’t get that anywhere else and I’m very thankful he was assigned to heal my hand and I’d recommend him over any other hand surgeon in the state of Georgia. Fast appointment times, clean office and short wait times. I love this Dr. he’s beyond amazing.

Dreadful experience with this doctor. Poor attitude bordering on hostile. Seemed to be annoyed that I was looking for a non-surgical alternative to my severe carpal tunnel syndrome, and minimized the condition (which was later successfully treated with surgery by a more experienced physician.)
