Massive healing complications
Had a tummy tuck and breast lift. Dr. Janssen did lipo (which was not discussed beforehand) to the area beneath my tummy tuck incision. Because of the lipo, there was no tissue to support my incision. Just skin stretched over nothing and stiched closed. The incision dehisced just days after surgery and I was left with an enormous, gaping wound. Nobody cared. They dealt with it, but I was treated as an annoyance. 6 months post-op, my wound had made a sinus. I went in and Dr. Janssen cut it out. Finally, a few weeks later, it was finally closed. Now I have a massive adherent scar that will require additional surgery...surgery that I will most certainly NOT see Dr. Janssen for. Also- the day I got home from surgery, I aspirated a drink of water and felt something rip in my abs that had been stitched together. Dr. Janssen didn't believe me and now, years later, I have a weird bulge and can't do ab exercises without excruciating pain and the feeling that my abs are somehow 'out of place.'

Would not reccomend!
16 years old. I was a 16 year old girl who put my trust into doctor David Janssen. I suffer from hyperhydrosis, more specifically in my armpits. I was embarrassed. My mom and I did research as how we can find solutions! That’s when we came across Doctor Janssen. He seemed reputable and gained my trust. We went thru with the miradry procedure. (I believe that’s what it’s called, but cannot specifically remember the exact name of the machine) I can say with 100% confidence the machine was not used correctly. From right after the procedure, I had these burns on the surface of my skin. However, the metal probe was stuck under the my skin. The burn was much deeper than I anticipated. what I didn’t realize is the forever pain that was to come. I did not feel any remorse from Janssen. He was not sorry and he made that very evident. What mattered was his image, not a 16 year old girl with burns deeper than I can ever describe. I’m here to bring awareness. This man did not care about safety!

So happy!
Contemplating these procedures can be stressful. A friend referred me to Dr Janssen and I couldn’t be happier with my neck and lower face lift. The results are everything and more than I expected. I was hoping for a natural and normal look…not pulled back or fake. Just look refreshed, and youthful. So incredibly happy with my results at just 10 weeks post op. Thank you Dr Janssen and staff!!

Disrespectful and Inconsiderate
You would think that if you spend 8 thousand dollars and drive 2 hours to see a plastic surgeon, that they would atleast make sure you're satisfied. If your patient tells you something is WRONG, then LISTEN. Swallow your pride or whatever it is, do the necessary testing, and make sure they feel confident that it's not their implant causing issues. He honestly tried to say it was tattoos that are causing my pain and discomfort. ..tattoos that I've had for YEARS. Which have never caused me issues in the past. I don't know what it is with him, but to me it felt like pride. Not only from him, but from his ultrasound tech as well. Arrogant and rude. I will never return there, and will be getting a second opinion from someone who listens to me and cares about their patients.

Dr Janssen worked with Dr Foley and both completed my double mastectomy reconstruction perfect. He explained things in detail and treated myself and family great. Sometimes he seamed rushed but if you asked him to wait you had more questions he took his time with no complaints.

I was showing into the examining room, he asked me why I was there, he examined me, then had someone who was not qualified come into to an ultrasound, after the ultrasound I was told to make an appointment in 3 weeks to see his nurse practitioner-- not the Dr. Janssen. I left without a diagnosis, without see this doctor again-- and without reassurance that my problem was addressed or even cared about.
