Did not feel comfortable with him
He seems personable at first but I did not feel comfortable with him. He didn't seem to put my health or interests as a patient as a priority and at times was dismissive.

One star is way too high!
Spent an entire 4 minutes with me, told me I have new onset osteoporosis, well knock me over with a feather! Can’t you read a chart? I’ve had it for 10 years. I spent five years working in a prison, even the meanest prison guards treated the worst inmates better than I was treated. Please do yourself a favor and find a good surgeon! Run away, don’t walk!

I was seen by an oncologist and she told me I needed a bone biopsy and to have my primary refer me. The primary (an internal medicine MD) also agreed that I needed the biopsy. Dr. Hamilton patronizingly told me that he didn't want to leave a scar and that it didn't seem that big. He said he couldnt tell much from the imaging that was ordered. YES! THAT IS WHY I NEED A BIOPSY. He also tried to tell me that the swelling in my bones could only be caused by 2 types of cancer, and he clearly thought that those 2 are visible on FDG PET. MANY MALIGNANCIES ARE NOT VISIBLE ON FDG PET, INCLUDING NEUROENDOCRINE TUMORS, and ANY cancer can metastasize to the bone. My father died of cancer within 4 months of being diagnosed at exactly my age and went blind and was paralyzed by bone metastases before he died. Dr. Hamilton could not tell me what might be causing this painful bony swelling but he also did not care.
