Poor Planning and Attitude
Poor surgical planning, arrogant, dismissive. He did not do the procedure as he had discussed and prepared resulting in unnecessary complications and difficulty with long term postoperative care. Seems to have forgotten his surgery plan or didn't document his plan. He has apparently forgotten basic medicine prior to fellowships. Choose a different surgeon for reconstructive urology somewhere else like in Rochester.

Superficial Arrogant & Inconsiderate
My comments are based on 4 or 5 visits with Dr. Abramowitz following the retirement of my long term urologist at WNY Urology Associates after multiple decades of an excellent relationship. Starting with my first visit where I was left in the exam room and told to reschedule when he didn't return - through his removing a long medication producing the opposite result to what he predicted - to scheduling an invasive treatment that was not discussed and seemed unwarranted, I have become totally uncomfortable in moving forward with the relationship.

Worst doctor I've ever seen
He skirted questions with the same answers, was unprepared for the visit. Apathetic attitude. I wouldn't let him pet a cat, much less do a surgical procedure on me.

Dr. Abramowitz is caring, empathetic and thorough. He is really good with his patients. He made me feel so much better about the procedures I will have to endure for the resolution of my condition, and assured me that everything will get better. I am in good hands.

Made the first visit very relaxed & comfortable
So my past urologist had retired and Dr Abramowitz was taking over his patients. I was a bit nervous and he sensed it. He took the time to explain he wasn't going to do anything invasive and walked me through everything. I left very impressed.
