Dr. Danielle Spallin, DO

Dr. Spallin is kind, gentle, compassionate, empathetic, a great listener and really cares about her patients. She always takes her time with me, and makes sure that I am comfortable and understand everything. In my 30 years of gynecological care, I have never encountered such an amazing doctor. I could go on and on... I'm just very grateful for her existence and will see her as long as she is practicing!

Dr Spallin attended the birth of my son in 2023. I am grateful that she encouraged me in my goal to go unmedicated and I'm grateful that she didn't send me to c-section when I'm sure many other doctors would have due to "failure to progress". However, there were other things that I feel I must share with any potential clients of hers. First, she offered an episiotomy which fortunately I knew to decline because episiotomies cause more severe tearing, harder recovery, and greater chances of tearing in subsequent deliveries. Second, after my placenta was delivered she, without saying anything to me, reached her hand inside of my uterus to scoop clots out. It was horrifically painful and not having any communication about it made it that much worse. Third, upon repairing my second degree tear she said "I want to make sure it's tight enough"... when I had my original provider later check how my stitches were healing my provider said it appears I was given a husband stitch. Additionally, one of the sutures halfway in the tear had puckered and wasn't healing right. In the end I had to have a corrective surgery.

I have never dealt with a more unprofessional practice and if you value your time and if you're looking for a professional standard of care, this is not the practice. They canceled three appointments in a row on me and the third time they didn't call me to cancel but waited until I got to the office to tell me Dr. Spallin needed to cancel. They are unreliable and it didn't seem to matter to them that it was the third time that they canceled. This is not a practice that will make you a priority!

My daughter was seen in the OB Emergency. She was already very nervous and afraid that she was having a miscarriage. After she received her ultrasound and was placed in a room, Dr Spallin told my daughter…welcome to the club. How unprofessional is that and why would a doctor say that to some one that just found out she is losing her baby. Not only was she unprofessional that is also very insensitive.

I love Dr. Spallin. She's very attentive, caring and funny. Talking to her it like talking to a good good girlfriend. She gives a space that makes you feel very comfortable telling her anything. I would HIGHLY recommend her.

She performed a termination of a very wanted pregnancy for medical reasons. She was so incredibly cold. She didn’t reassure me that I would be okay. She didn’t comfort me when I cried. And when I woke up from anesthesia she was talking about buying car seats for her baby with someone else in the room. I had to ask them to stop talking about their children within 30 seconds of waking up from my abortion. Through devastated tears. She added to my trauma and I’d never recommend her to anyone.

Left three or four strong messages for doctor spallin to call me back about the new results in my bloodwork and what they mean. Someone else from the office called to deliver them and couldn't clarify the results, and I've been trying to clarify ever since. Every time i call they say there's a note for her to call me in my chart but it's been two weeks now with no callback. Leaving a patient worrying about her health for two weeks?! Unacceptable. I do not feel comfortable returning for care or recommending her to others at all.

Dr Spallin is fantastic. Throughout pregnancy she made me feel comfortable, answered all questions. Even during the delivery process she discussed the birth plan so I had an idea on what to expect.

Dr. Spallin is an amazing ob/gyn. She is kind and compassionate. Best bedside manner I've seen in a long time.

Dr. Spallin is an amazing Dr. Her sincere compassion, authentic caring bedside manner and skill always exceed excellence! She makes me feel comfortable during each encounter.

I went to see Dr. Spallin on an emergency basis. The office was nice and quiet and I did not wait long to see her. Her staff was very nice and pleasant. Dr. Spallin was very attentive, she listened to me, she asked questions, made a very good observation and recommendation and was genuinely empathetic and concerned. I did not feel that she rushed me in any way. She called me to discuss lab results. I truly appreciate the care I received and I would recommend her without hesitation.
