I went to Dr Waggoner after my previous provider retired. Dr Waggoner never stops pushing the allergy shot treatments. I have already run the gamut on this several years ago but had to stop after 2.5 years because of being laid off and losing my health coverage. During the period that I was getting the shots, I had no discernable change in my allergies. The process is very time-consuming (2x week for a period of time, then 1x week for a period, etc.), plus his office is about ½ hour from my home and an hour from my office which means I would have to take at least 1.5-2.5 hours for EACH visit. I also work the kind of job that requires me to occasionally stay late on a moment’s notice; with this unpredictability it can be a challenge to schedule appointments. I was seeing him once a year for a checkup and refills on my meds. Each time he would continue to hound me about the shot treatment despite my explanations that it was not something I could fit into my schedule. The last time I was there he made a not so subtle comment that was obviously intended to convince me that I was hopeless without the shots by exclaiming my sinuses were “a wreck.” I never felt his bedside manner was particularly appealing but that was the final straw for me.

Laughed at my symptoms, couldn't explain why finding out what I'm allergic to would help, told me rashes were as bad as heart attacks (I have skin allergies) and then when I tried to schedule an apt. for testing his scheduler had a hard time finding a appointment for me because I had a conflict with the first one she suggested and gave me a long lecture about how busy they were and how all the appointments have already gone to current patients and blah blah blah, I told thanks but no thanks I'll try another Dr.s office.

He is insecure and condescending and didn't listen to what the patient had to say. I found another practitioner who was open minded and listen to me and got me relief.
