Excellent Thoughful Care
I have been treated by Dr. Tung for 10 years or more. He has always taken the time to answer all of my questions and concerns at every visit. He has made recommendations to control my Type 2 diabetes and they have proven to be very effective.

Took my father for a check up and could not believe how rude he was. he made sure to tell us how upset he was that he was behind schedule and now that cut into his lunch. He cut my father off when he was trying to talk, he got mad and lectured us that we did not "demand" paper reports from other doctors. I'm not sure why my father likes him but i'll be looking for another dr. Staff office is AMAZING and i can tell THEY care about the patients

Dr. Daniel Tung MD is a self-important endocrinologist and walks around with a stopwatch with limited time to listen. I did not care for his El Capone analogy about beta cells and how I have executed them over the years. I am 57 yrs. and not that ignorant. He keyed in my past results into his system and repeated himself several times because he could not focus on the many tasks he was trying to accomplish. He is not Keto friendly; he is drug friendly. He is a pharmaceutical doctor and quick to prescribe the most expensive drugs. Did not care to hear me out on my improvement as I adopted the low-carb diet. He was dismissive and walked out saying that he could hear his waiting patients clamoring his name for his presence. I was closer in front of him and he did not hear me. Front desk not friendly and never greeted anyone during my visit. Blood work is 2.5 times more expensive compared to other medical facilities. I am a cash patient and so it matters. Average at best.

The most unprofessional doctors office ever visited! I saw the red flags on 3 previous visits, but chose to overlook. Today’s visit was he final straw. I had rescheduled my yearly appointment so I could get a bone scan (on location), just to find out after waiting a hour that the room with the scanner was unavailable. It is basically an office or what they claimed was a research center.

He was very patient and thoroughly listened to me explain my symptoms. I have seen several doctors in the past and he is the first one that was willing to do additional labs to get to the root of the cause. I am certain he will find the right diagnosis.

Incredibly rude. Asks questions, but cuts you off if he doesn't like your answer. My last visit his tone, words and treatment went past rude to what I would call verbally abusive. To describe as arrogant is insufficient. I've never had a doctor cut off my answer to a question he asked by laughing in my face & then start talking over me about how ridiculous my answer was. I attempted to ask a question about what he was telling me & was asked if I thought I knew more since I was questioning him.

High patient doctor and really take care of my health. Most important, they can generally get you in for an appointment very quickly if need be. I called the office on Thursday, and I got call back in couple hours say they made me a walk in appointment on Friday. I have never had better or more personal care from a healthcare team like Daniel Tung!

Dr. Tung is a very capable Endocrinologist. From a medical service perspective, he is top-notch. However, he is not the least bit humble and comes off as generally unnecessarily adversarial. Interacting with him gives the sensation of imposing on an important persons time. My guess is that he is constantly overbooked by the clinics staff. If you do have an appointment with him I would encourage you to have your wits about you before you come in. It will most likely be a lively interaction.

Should have read reviews on Dr. Tung before making the appointment and save myself an agonizing experience. As was commented by other reviewers he is rude and arrogant. Does not listen and turns the patient's concerns into arguments. Would never go back to him again.

Dr. Daniel Tung has been my doctor for a couple of years now and my first impression was don't judge the book by it's cover....He is very intelligent, blunt, fast, and we should always listen to what medical advice he gives....His practice makes him a very busy man trying to be in many place to tend to his patients in office and hospitals. He has been having difficulty with a staff that can work like him but it's an adjustment. Dr. Tung has saved my life in many ways . Maria

Rarely have I seen the majority of other reviewers hit the same negatives as I have seen with Dr. Tung and his staff. He walked into the room and didn't have any idea why or who he was seeing (husband and wife both in the room) and this was after we spent 30 minutes (not by choice) filling out questionnaires with a PA. Arrogant. No time to listen. Immediate pushy on tests without determining any issues--feels like a bill mill. Dirty, poorly organized rooms and old equipment (main location).

although I have been going to dr. tung for years. he became my dr after another dr left the practice. I would never recommend him. he is arrogant, rude, doesn't listen, always late and spends less then 10 min for every visit, with most of that time spent with him reading my medical file.
