Dr Pelzman performed surgery on my husband recently.We had considered going out of state to see other doctors but were so impressed with Dr. Pelzman that we went him.We are so glad we did From the initial visit, to surgery, to post opp appointment, he was incredible We can not recommend him highly enough!

Dr. Pelzman performed an IPI procedure on me in January 2025. I had previously undergone a robotic RP followed by salvage radiation and six months of hormone therapy when additional cancer subsequently became detectable. I was referred to Dr. Pelzman by the surgeon who had performed my robotic RP when I had been unable to locate an experienced IPI surgeon on my own as a result of a number of retirements. In our initial visit both my wife and I were impressed with Dr. Pelzman’s confidence, competence and experience. Despite having only started at MGH a few months before, he had more IPI experience than one hospital touted online for their entire urology department.Dr. Pelzman also proved to be exceptionally thorough. Well before the surgery he had reviewed my medical history and noted a recent aberrational increase in my blood sugar and A1C. I messaged the doctor's office twice but there was no response. After the appointment they called me and asked me to go elsewhere for a referral. The staff was rude. And I never heard back from Dr. Pelzman. Doctors at MGH have a reputation for not caring about patients. I've experienced this many times.
