Refused me service strictly based on the fact that I have BPD.

Unfortunately, I can’t relay my story in 500 characters or less. So, I’ll get straight to the point. Dr. Fischer should not be allowed to practice psychiatry. The only reason I’m alive today is because other caring psychiatric practitioners/social workers intervening on my behalf, most were not affiliated with Providence. He is as unprofessional, unknowledgeable, and arrogant as it gets. Do yourself a service by seeking help elsewhere. Ditto on Providence's PHP/IOP Behaviour Health Program.

He's humble and caring and doesn't think meds will solve all your problems. He's a person just like you and me. He's very knowledgeable and is willing to work with you to figure out a treatment plan. Currently (2018) he's only practicing in an intensive outpatient program through Providence.
