She prejudges and refuses to try
She prejudged the appointment. If she feels it is not an allergy issue, then she spends the whole appointment telling you how you are wrong and listing things she won’t do because ‘there is no point’ she is defensive even when thanked for suggestions, and made me feel ashamed for trying to find out how to help my child the best I could, and for following their pediatricians advice. She only talked about turfs, and suggested a life threatening disease as the reason instead of allergies. I can understand if this issue is not a true allergy, but to be that rude to a parent trying to find answers, is not ‘blunt’ or ‘strait forward’. It is a complete lack of empathy and people skills when she ‘feels’ her time is wasted.

Dr. Lerner yelled at me (and adult) and had me in tears. She was very condescending. I was in shock that this Dr was treating me this way. Stay far away from her! Her personality is horrible and I question how much she knows about food allergies!

Grandson was referred by pediatrician because of severe allergic reactions and wanted a specialist to see him. She was rude and made it clear we were wasting here time because she is booked through november with people who "actually" need to be seen. Then when my grandson started crying told my son to take him outside. Seriously? She must forget who pays her salary. Never again going to see her and if thats how drs from Luries treat people we certainly wont be going there for anything else.

Very knowledgeable and thorough. We've been seeing her for two years now and there is very little to no wait times. She is Also no-nonsense and to the point, which I appreciate.

My son and I had the absolute WORST experience with DR. Lerner a year and a half ago. We were scheduled for a 12pm appointment, and not joke, were not even brought back until after 5pm. We then sat in the back and waited over 2 hours for her to spend 15 minutes with us. Within 2 minutes she waved around that my child might have cystic fibrosis which was shocking to us (understandably!) and ordered a battery of tests. Once we spoke to our pediatrician and endo they said that was absolutely absurd
