I'm 52. I saw two Drs before coming to see Dr Sclar. They got me in immediately. I'd been having some chest pains that other MDs suggested (even after an ekg) was likely Gerd. Dr. Sclar listened to my symptoms and said "it's not Gerd, go to the ER immediately." I asked about doing and echocardiogram and he said "No. I know the difference go to the ER now." He was absolutely right. I had had a heart attack. I went in for surgery the next day. He probably saved my life. I highly recommend him

Dr Sclar attended me associated with an emergency visit to Scripps Hospital, resulting from a heart attack. He did an excellent job explaining what had most likely happened to me and his strategy for the next morning. The next morning's procedures resulted in four stints being installed. He even answered a question during the procedure. Upon hospital discharge he explained the follow up process and went out of his way to find me a coupon for the expensive medicine, a nice human touch.
