Dr. Boyer is no doubt the best wound care doctor in the Charleston-Berkley county area. She is a complete professional who genuinely cares for her patients. Her knowledge of wound care is endless and she is also familiar with new and developing techniques. Dr. Boyer is a patient listener and will explain things to you in layman's terms so you understand her treatment. She is always available and if you leave a message for her, she will call you back usually within the hour. Anyone needing any type of wound care, look no further and contact Dr. Corynn Boyer! I had an appointment on April 5, 2023 at Roper Hospital with Dr. Boyer for an artificial skin graft application on a wound on my ankle. I had been seeing Dr. Boyer for a long time. After entering the exam room, the nurse removed the bandages from the wound and prepped it with lidocane cream to numb the wound before the procedure. Less than a minute later Dr. Boyer entered the room and began to wipe down the wound. I asked if she could wait a few minutes for the numbing to take effect. She got up from her chair, threw a handful of gauze squares on the table, took off her gloves and left the room, not saying a single word. She never examined the wound and gave further "orders" to her nurse to pass on to me. I have never seen such unprofessional conduct by a doctor in my life. I no longer go to Dr. Boyer and would not recommend her at all. Totally unprofessional!!!!

Dr. Boyer, has given me faith in the medical field. I had been looking for a Dr to help me with my lymphedema for around 4 years. She has worked wonders in just 5 weeks. My feet are now small enough, got first shoes on in two years. I will be greatful to her for the rest of my life.
