The front office was courteous and pleasant. Then I met the office nurse whom did not even look at me while she took preliminary checks. I explained I was trying to get a primary for check ups and ease of appts. I also stated my shoulder had been bothering me for 2 months.
The Dr came in and sarcastically said "I see you are in a LOT of pain!" This is not what I told the office nurse. She asked me about my history and I told her high cholesterol runs in my family. She said to go get labs and come back in 6 months or 1 year....
I was trying to still ask for a referral while she was physically guiding me out towards reception, completely embarrassing me.
After I got the labs I tried calling the office and figure out the next steps. It took 3 days of phone tag to get ahold of the office nurse. Finally I told them I'm finding another provider.
I'm currently in PT for partially torn rotator. No thanks to Dr Khuu.

Appointment was not good. I'm a 59 year old health professional. I know about my own health issues. I have never been to a doctor who was so unwilling to answer or discuss my health care needs. It was very disappointing since Dr. Khuu was recommended to us by another credible doctor in the community. I have not been able to get in touch with the office on numerous occasions. My pharmacy can not get a return phone call. The nurse was very rude throughout the appointment and seemed upset she was there.

Dr. Khuu's a brilliant, professional and honest doctor! She looked at me and suspected my issue, sent me for blood testing and sure enough, she was right. She's guiding me back to homeostasis.I feel my health safe with her. I'm so grateful. I wish her a long, successful future. We need more doctors like her.

I was mostly pleased with Dr. Khuu until her new nurse did not follow my insurance's protocol for a Prolia injection which ended up costing ME $3300!!! I had the injection 3 times before and this NEVER happened. She does not supervise her staff properly, and would not discuss this issue with me. I am quite disappointed.

I did not have a good experience. Recently went to her as a new patient. On the first visit she told me that I was only allowed to discuss 3 health issues, and I had to choose which of my problems i felt was most important. Obviously, I am not a doctor and I don't know which is most important. Very disheartening. While she may sit and listen to you, in my opinion she is not capable of doing simple procedures that are common in every family office. In my opinion she seems to refer patients out to specialist for things that 90% of family doctors do in their office. In my opinion either she is not capable or just does not like physically working, which explains why patients can get in and out so quickly.

The person doing the blood pressure and weight is not a people person almost rude. The doctor my 1st visit with her wanted to start by ordering test wanted to change my medication without even getting my bloodwork report. My blood pressure was 136 over 80 which is good she wants it lower. I am 68 years old.almost had to argue with her about changing my diabetes medication. Was not a good start I my be changing doctors.

I switched to Dr Khuu because going to appointments at my last Dr took hours. Hour in the waiting room waiting to be called and another hour in the room waiting for the Dr. Ridiculous!!
Within 5 minutes of arriving at Dr Khuu's office, I'm was called back for BP and weight Then within 5 minutes of being seated in the next room, Dr Khuu knocks on the door.
This office is quick and efficient. And the best part Dr Khuu is an awesome doctor.

Dr. Khuu is smart and shows empathy. She studied my case OUTSIDE of the appointment. In other words, she did not provide the typical reactive assembly line treatment I have experienced with others.

I would never recommend this doctor. She double billed me for a 5 minute visit charging me over $500. I've asked that the bill reviewed on multiple occasions but have received no response from her office. Her assessment was less than thorough.
