Avoid at all costs. A failed cut happy surgery led me to a completely debilitating wrist contracture that needed a third surgery to release and clean out. After my second surgery with him, I had absolutely zero flexion in my wrist and required a complete work up and new treatment plan and surgical plan with a new physician. After my second surgery with him, I was never sent to occupational therapy or physical therapy which led to the debilitating contracture. Cut happy and only cares about making money. Stay away.

Cured my pain! Couldn’t be more pleased

I’d give him zero stars if I could. There are so many mistakes in my medial notes from my visits, a couple of examples include: 1) mislabeling the level and location of my pain. 2) multiple errors in the list of medication I was on, both dosage and entire medications that I was not on that appeared in my chart regardless. 3) I went three times and never felt heard. If you have the option to go anywhere else do, if you do not, I would recommend having someone with you, recording your appointments, and going through your charted notes for inaccuracies.

Dr Ackerman, explains everything thoroughly, I'm very pleased with him as a surgeon.
