Dr. Claudia Mason, MD

I have been treating with Dr Mason for the past 4 yrs. Her level of professionalism is beyond top notch. I suffer from a skin debase and Dr Mason helps me in ways that have never been suggested by other physicians. She’s really helped me! Thank you Dr Mason. You are the kindest, most gentle gynecologist I’ve ever met

Dr Mason is the most compassionate doctor I have had. She took time with me on a procedure I was nervous about and made everything as comfortable as possible. I cannot say enough good things.

Dr Mason is both clinically proficient and emotionally vested in her patients. She took the time to speak with me as a person and not just another patient.

I have lived in many different states, so I have had to go "gyno" shopping multiple times and this was the worse one yet. First of all, she didn't not care to ask anything about my history on our first visit, just basically threw my legs up on the table and went for it, which made me very uncomfortable. When I told her my problems, she pretty much ignored me and told me "None of this is fatal." but we will run some labs. When I got my labs, she commented on them using the WRONG NAME. How am I supposed to know this wasn't a lab mistake? Her mistake? Are those actually my values? Who knows, when I asked her, she completely ignored me. After everything was inconclusive, she told me to just "wait a little while, then if nothing changes, WE can spend some more money figuring it out." I am sorry? It is not your money being spent on all this, and that is very insensitive to say when some people actually struggle paying for all of this just for their problems to get brushed under the rug.

Terrible experience. The billing and customer service staff are incredibly incompetent. I tried to get a bill resolved for testing that was supposed to be covered by my preventative care benefits. I tried for at least 2 months and I would either get hung up on or speak to someone completely new everytime I try to call. Now, for the doctor, that was even worse. Yes, she was kind like the other reviews below BUT for me, she did not explain much about why she prescribed to me a certain strong, expensive, rx ( ampho-terrible)for a yeast infection which I found out later by visiting 2 other obgyns that that certain prescription is only for severe, intensive care patients. NOT to be given as a first line of treatment for a yeast infection. Thank God I listened to my gut and seeked a second opinion because if I blindly took the rx that Dr. Mason told me to get, it would have been detrimental to my health. Don't waste your time, go elsewhere...your health and your wallet will thank you for it.

I have been a patient of Doctor Mason's for the past 13 years. I highly recommend her. She is extremely intelligent, compassionate and very proactive when it comes to her patient's healthcare. She makes it much easier to address the many scenarios we as women do with our personal care. Dr. Mason genuinely cares.

She proceeded to perform unnecessary STD tests on me, despite my objections, and explanation as to why they were not needed. Felt insulting that she seemed to assume that the reason for the pain I was experiencing was due to having some STD. She did not seem to care about anything I had to say, just was intent on doing unnecessary tests (which insurance didn't cover, by the way...I had to pay completely out of pocket for them, which made the situation even more maddening.) Never again...I've avoided her like the plague since.

Dr Mason is such a wonderful person, listens, and gives such great care !

Hands down, one of the absolute worst doctors I have ever seen. She is very good at performing tests which are unnecessary, has a rude and demeaning attitude toward her patients. I would never recommend this doctor and would caution against her practices as they are not patient-centered. The whole premise of this doctor is to get you to go for multiple tests. Thats where the Clinic makes their money. Very poor experience with the doctor and with the rude staff.

Dr.Mason is Great! I wish all doctors were like her.

Dr. Mason is outstanding. You cannot find a better gynae anywhere. She is experienced, kind and knowledgeable. I have recommended three friends to her and all of them have raved. She doesn't rush you. She cares. It's always a very positive experience.

She is more interested in selling services provided by the Cleveland Clinic than patient?s wellbeing.

Dr. Mason, was quick, straightforward and easy going. I had never been to a gynecologist before and was a bit nervous, but her staff was professional and helpful through the whole appointment.
