Dr. Clark Wysong, MD

I am a healthy and active college student who only needed to come in for my annual. My regular provider was unable to see me, so Wysong saw me instead. When asked what my diet is, I said I eat healthy and have one drink a week. He then responded with 'so you have lots of cheese burgers and beer.' This was completely rude and dismissive as I was open and honest about my diet. I also had a fever and a cough during the visit which he dismissed as nothing, just to be diagnosed soon after by fast med with pneumonia. His lack of care was clear, had he diagnosed me with pneumonia, I would have been saved many sick and miserable days.

Dr Wysong has always greeted me with a friendly smile and listens to all my concerns. He explains everything in a manner that is welcoming. Not just what I want to hear. He gives me ample amount of time for all our discussions. I feel he is a Doctor that really cares for me, my health and my time. I would highly recommend Dr. Wysong!

Okay so I’ll preface this by saying I’ve seen some of the top doctors in the world at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Barrow Neurological Institute. I have had a myriad of conditions but I’ve been provided a vast amount of information. My first visit with this pompous “professional” was awful. He very briefly reviewed my info, asked me like two questions, and then went on a rant of ill informed, condescending information that completely contradicts what I’ve been told by doctors who literally travel the world to give talks about the groundbreaking work they do. I also interned in a biomedical research lab at the U of A med school, so I do thorough research and read lots of journals about my health decisions and he made unfounded claims that have no basis in the academic community without having any meaningful understanding of my very unique case. Honestly, staying at home and hoping it goes away would possibly be more beneficial than seeing him.

I’ve been seeing Dr Wysong for 7+ years. On a positive note he properly diagnosed my gout. That was a high point. Over time he used my refills as a hostage to make me come for unnecessary appointments. In the worst case during covid he mis-diagnosed my breathing problems and by the time he recognized it was pneumonia I went to emergency room. I was in hospital for 10 days and in the words of the surgeon- I nearly died. That was 2 years ago and the doctor seems to be getting to the point of being a control freak. I’m changing doctors. Sad.

Seemed disinterested in my concerns. Wanted to rush me in, write a referral and get me out of the office. Literally said, “ If you want to discuss more than 2 issues make another appointment “.

Does not respond to requests for refills on perscriptions. The pharmacy and myself requested a refill on an inhaler perscription, 3 days in a row with no response from the doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wysong's for years and I have always had a good experience. I like that he is straight to the point and listens to me and doesn't rush me when I have questions. I find him to be very nice and caring.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Wyaong for several years now and have loved him as my doctor. He always listens intently and allows me the ability to communicate my concerns. He’s been an amazing doctor.

Dr. Wysong has been very responsive to our medical needs and has been most accurate in his diagnostics and treatment plans. He is very personable and cares for his patient
